There is a new TV show out called ‘Almost Human.’ It’s a futuristic sci-fi show about the police working with robots to fight crime. Now, I am going to admit it now: I like the show. However, just as I have pointed out how NCIS has been used to undermine support for the Constitution and rule of law, Almost Human is being used to alter the way you think about machines and the police.

In my last post, TRUTH: A Generation Will Have To Pass Away For Things To Get Better, I pointed out that the people who populate the Progressive movement are the people from who they claim to be trying to protect Americans. One of the original characteristics of the Progressive movement – and a characteristic which is still alive and operational today, is racism. Now, remember, I have defined racism according to the dictionary. This means that, in order for a policy to be considered racist, there has to be a social or government aspect to the practice. In other words, it has to be institutionalized. Otherwise, it is bigotry, not racism. Well, the Secretary of Education just proved that – so far as Progressives and the Obama Administration are concerned – they are both racist:

An Entitlement Mentality Leads To Poverty And Serfdom/Slavery
Our society has developed an entitlement mentality: we feel we are ‘owed’ something simply because we exist. This sense of entitlement is the result of decades of deliberately implemented policy by people who have embraced the Marxist ideal. They have been trying to change our society, our culture. They call this process of directed change ‘social engineering.’ The goal is to create the ‘ideal’ society by making citizens who will embrace their ideas for how we should all live. I ran across a story this week that is directly related to a class I just finished teaching for my church. I gave an eight week course on Christian apologetics. The word, apologetics, is derived from a Greek word which means to defend. In other words, apologetics has nothing to do with apologizing for one’s faith; it is about offering an affirmative defense of it. While it certainly relies on Scripture, apologetics is also founded on logic and reason. Contrary to what many skeptics would like to believe, faith is anything but irrational. Scripture actually teaches reason, and encourages the believer to test everything so they can find and hold to the Truth and discard the rest. Unfortunately, too few Christians actually know and understand Scripture well enough to offer an affirmative defense of their faith, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise when skeptics attack Scripture as contradictory, or violent or advocating social mores other than those they embrace.
