Most skeptics like to scoff at Bible prophecy: claiming that it is written so vaguely that it makes it possible to interpret just about any event as a fulfillment of any given prophecy.  Well, the truth is, a great many of the prophecies in the Bible are so exact that these same skeptics try to force a much later date onto the date of the writing of these prophecies.  This is because, if they accept the given date of when the prophet wrote, they would also be forced to accept the rest of what the Bible claims and they simply refuse to dot hat.  Then there is the dual nature of prophecy.  In many cases — especially when dealing with the end times — a prophecy had an immediate and later meaning.  It was intended to foretell an event close to the time of the prophet to whom the prophecy was given, but it applies equally to the end times.  Such may well be the case with Isaiah’s prophecy against Damascus. Once again, I have encountered a reader who believes that the founders cannot possibly have meant what they said, and, therefore, we cannot possibly know what their original intentions were when they wrote the Constitution.  These people can be exceedingly frustrating to deal with as they have renounced the use of reason.  We can know this is true because they never seem to understand that, if they are correct and we cannot know what the founders meant, then we cannot know what they mean — and for the same reasons.  So why do they even bother to comment when they cannot even be sure they know what they mean, themselves?  However, setting all this aside, we still need to understand the foundation of their perverted reasoning.  At the core of this line of thinking lies the notion that the Constitution is a ‘living document.’  And, as with most things that are meant to deceive, there is a kernel of truth to what they say.  But because their reasoning is perverted, and their desire is lawlessness, it is easy for the casual observer to be deceived by that kernel of truth and tricked into accepting what is actually a lie.  This is why it is essential we know how the founders intended us to ‘interpret’ the Constitution — so that we are never seduced by the lawless individuals seeking to destroy this nation with their lies. Several years ago, I was only playing at being a follower of Christ.  Back then, I didn’t read my Scriptures very often, and when I did, it was mostly prophecy.  I was trying to figure out when I would be removed from the trials to come.  Then, in His infinite Wisdom and perfect Grace, the Lord called me to teach.  Now, I did not know or understand much Scripture at that time, but I did know what God’s Word says about holding teachers to a higher standard.  So, when I was called to teach, I got serious about studying God’s Word — and it was also about that time I started to humble myself and obey His commands.  Once I did this, God began to open His Word to me, including His prophecies.  He also  lead me to some of His other servants whose teachings the Lord wanted me to hear.  Because I set myself aside and allowed God’s Word to speak for itself, I have a knew understanding of prophecy, and with it, a new command.  The Lord has called me to warn whomsoever will listen, and not to cease sounding this alarm until He tells me to.  So it is that I say to all who have ears to hear: it is time to put on the full armor of God for the time of our persecution is nigh at hand!

My heart broke today.  I saw this picture on the wall of a good friend, a friend who claims to believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  He was promoting this picture as a means of fighting ignorance.  And while I understand my friend’s intentions, I also know that most people will not.  To them, the  implication will be that  Allah and Yahweh are one.  THIS IS A LIE!

I have no concern for myself.  Live or die: I know I am going to be OK.  I am reasonably sure the majority of my family will be OK, as well.  But America is not going to be ‘OK.’  In fact, I feel an indescribably sense of dread; not only for America, but for the whole world — and this is not the worse part of it.  The worse part of it is that what I know is going to happen does not have to happen.  If only we would humble ourselves and accept things as they are and not try to make them into what we want them to be, we would have a chance to avoid what is coming.  But we are too proud to humble ourselves.  Instead, we double-down on our own arrogance-induced ignorance, and it is about to kill us all. Who is it that made the nations?  If you read your Scriptures, you will notice that man tries to unify himself, but God keeps disrupting man’s plans.  God banished Cain to be a wanderer, but Cain built a city to glorify himself.  After God destroyed all but Noah, men tried to build a tower to the heavens, again trying to glorify himself.  God split them up and confused their language to ensure they would have a more difficult time re-unifying again.  Different languages lead to different cultures, which leads to different nations.  God continuously speaks of about how He will make nations, Himself.  Therefore, God’s people need to understand that ‘nationhood’ is a part of God’s plan.  We must also understand that this gives us a duty to protect and preserve our nation, so that we do not commit national suicide — as Europe has! Muhammad was praying in a cave when he encountered ‘Gabriel.’  According to Muhammad, the first several times, ‘Gabriel’ nearly crushed him, physically, to the point where he could not breath and panicked.  Muhammad said that ‘Gabriel’ told him to ‘recite,’ but Muhammad protested that he could not because he was illiterate (note: this is vaguely reminiscent of Moses encounter and reaction to God and the Burning Bush). I have been encountering many people who claim to be Christians, yet they defend Islam and Allah.  I do not understand how they can believe this.  If they read their Scriptures, and they learn anything about Islam at all, they should be able to see that Allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Therefore, I choose to assume that these ‘Christians’ do not read their Scripture.  But what is more puzzling is how so many of these same ‘Christians’ will call me a hater, a bigot and a racist when I try to educate them about Islam by sharing Muhammad’s own words with them.  Recently, I have had ‘Christians’ tell me I am ‘cherry picking’ the Qur’an the same way I can cherry pick the Bible.  Again, I choose to believe these ‘Christians’ do not read their Scriptures.  Otherwise, how could they attack me for offering correction and edification?  They are commanded — by Christ and His Apostles — not to do such things.  But, more than this, how could these ‘Christians’ equate the Bible with the Qur’an, or Yahweh with Allah?  I say I ‘choose’ to believe these ‘Christians’ do not know their Scriptures because the alternative is not something I want to accept:

As I do not wish to intentionally miss-represent Islam, I am going to openly state that, within Islam, ‘abrogation‘ is a disputed topic.  Some Muslims reject the claim that any passage of the Qur’an has been abrogated, but, mostly, the debate is over what passages (Surahs) of the Qur’an have been replaced, and which passages replaced them.  All I know is that, if one reads the Qur’an and takes Muhammad at his word (which Muhammad commands), then the concept of abrogation is in the Qur’an.  All that remains is to determine which passage replaces another, and since Islam is a ‘chronological’ religion (meaning it builds from early to later), the later passages logically replace the earlier ones (which is supported by the fact that Muhammad said this is the way abrogation works). So, why is this important to understand?  Because most of the passages dealing with peaceful relations toward non-Muslims have been abrogated! Not too long ago, I used to wonder why the same people always seemed to end up on opposite sides of every issue.  As I tried to figure this out, I noticed that those who usually found themselves on the side opposite to me never respond to reason.  This doesn’t mean these people are not intelligent because they are.  In fact, it would seem that there a great deal of very intelligent people on the side that does not respond to reason.  Now, by ‘reason,’ I mean they do not adhere to nor do they allow themselves to be guided by the laws of logic.  They have their own way of thinking through things, but they change the rules governing how they think to suit the pre-conceived conclusions they want to draw.  At the same time, the people on the other side — the side where I usually find myself — they do adhere to the laws of logic and, whether they like it or not, they are more — not always — but more inclined to let logic determine their conclusions on a given issue.  But this is a rough description of what I observed was as far as I got in trying to understand why this is — until I started to seek wisdom instead of knowledge.  Once I started seeking wisdom, everything changed.  Now I understand… Continue reading “Why Do We See Things So Differently?” →
