Pieces Of The Puzzle: Protecting The Propaganda Monopoly

How The Government And The Media Protect Their Political Narrative

I have been on this topic for a couple of days now, and I will likely stay on it for as long as I blog.  Propaganda is essential to the control of a free people.  So long as the people can communicate the Truth about what is happening, the government narrative cannot succeed.  This is why Walter Lippmann said these words:

Without some form of censorship, propaganda in the strict sense of the word is impossible. In order to conduct propaganda there must be some barrier between the public and the event. Continue reading “Pieces Of The Puzzle: Protecting The Propaganda Monopoly”

Pieces Of The Puzzle: The Media’s Narrative

Paula Dean and Trayvon Martin, But No Michael Lane And No Chris & Channon

NOTE: This post is about learning to spot the little pieces of the puzzle that make up larger sections of the overall picture.  In order to understand this post, you have to have already read my post, Social Engineering: The Origin, Justification And Control Of Propaganda, about propaganda and how it is used to control the political narrative in the media.  You also have to have read Pieces Of The Puzzle: Political Correctness Exposing The Hammer And Shield Behind The Racism Narrative, which explains how racism is one of the ‘crisis’ points described in my post on propaganda that is used by the media to control their political narrative.  Without both of these posts under your belt, this post will sound like little more than hand-waving conspiracy theory.  However, if you have read both of my previous posts, then the information and direction presented in this post should help the pieces start falling into place for you and, with luck, you will begin to see that stories such as those that follow actually support the arguments in my two earlier posts.  Continue reading “Pieces Of The Puzzle: The Media’s Narrative”

Social Engineering: The Origin, Justification And Control Of Propaganda

For those who really want to understand what is going on in our world, this is another important history lesson.  And, like all my other posts dealing with complicated issues, it will require you to spend a little time to get through and absorb the information I will present.  However, this post is a little different.  Continue reading “Social Engineering: The Origin, Justification And Control Of Propaganda”

Pieces Of The Puzzle: Political Correctness

Exposing The Hammer And Shield Behind The Racism Narrative

PREFACE: This is not an easy topic to discuss.  There are many historic and definitional aspects connected to it, not to mention a great deal of emotion.  So it is impossible to discuss this issue in a short essay.  For this reason, I humbly beseech you to stay with this post, as everything I write on this issue in the future will be predicated upon the information presented in this post.  In a real sense, this post is the foundation for the issue of racism and race relations on The OYL. Pieces Of The Puzzle: Indications Of Federal Involvement In And Takeover Of National Education

One of the problems we have in understanding what is going on so we can see more of the ‘big picture’ is that the picture is larger than we realize and, thus, has more pieces than we may have suspected.  So the best we can do is look for as many pieces of the puzzle as we can find.  If you have been following my series on education and how it was co-opted by the American Progressive movement to allow them an avenue through which they can engineer their ‘ideal society,’ then this post will help you see additional pieces to that section of the puzzle.  Continue reading “Pieces Of The Puzzle: Indications Of Federal Involvement In And Takeover Of National Education”

Social Engineering: Defining And Justifying Universal Conformity To The ‘Ideal’ Society

In my previous two posts in this series, Social Engineering: Creating A Ruling Elite While Undermining Society’s Ability To Think and Social Engineering: Justifying The State Takeover Of Our Children, I explained how our schools have been co-opted by people who wish to create what they see as a model or ‘perfect’ society and how they have attempted to seize government ownership of our children so they can use them as a weapon against us in the pursuit of this goal.  In this post, I will present just a fraction of the description these same people have given us of their ‘ideal’ society.  Continue reading “Social Engineering: Defining And Justifying Universal Conformity To The ‘Ideal’ Society”

Social Engineering: Justifying The State Takeover Of Our Children

In my previous post, Social Engineering: Creating A Ruling Elite While Undermining Society’s Ability To Think, I explained how our schools have been co-opted by people who wish to create what they see as a model or ‘perfect’ society.  In this post, I will present just a fraction of what these same people have left us where they openly state that this is their goal: the intentional creation of a ‘perfect’ society and how this goal has led to the State claiming ownership of our children. Follow-Up: How The Democrat Party Keeps Blacks ‘On Their Plantation.’

This post is just a quick follow-up to a previous post, Historic Revisionism: The Real Reason Democrats Want Blacks ‘On Their Plantation.’  When I saw this story, I realized it is the perfect companion to my first post because it illustrates how violently the political Left attacks any black who dares to step off the Democrat Party’s ‘plantation:’ Continue reading “Follow-Up: How The Democrat Party Keeps Blacks ‘On Their Plantation.’”

Form & Function: Why Compromise is the Negation of Principle

At the top of this blog, under the page titled “Basic Precepts,” you will find a post titled “Form & Function,”  in which I explain that a thing is not defined by what we call it, but rather, by its form and function.   This post uses this basic precept to explain how and why compromise should be considered the negation of principle.  The purpose is to help you better understand what it means to compromise, and to then use this understanding to evaluate when and where we can properly do so without ‘compromising’ our values. Continue reading “Form & Function: Why Compromise is the Negation of Principle”

Form & Function: Fascism, Corporatism, State Capitalism & Crony Capitalism

At the top of this blog, under the page titled “Basic Precepts,” you will find a post titled “Form & Function,”  in which I explain that a thing is not defined by what we call it, but rather, by its form and function.   This post uses this basic precept to define Fascism according to its form and how it functions.  The purpose is to help you better understand what we mean by Fascism, and to then use this understanding to spot that form and function wherever we find it in the world in which we live. Historic Revisionism: If It Had Not Been For Whites, Blacks Might Still Be Slaves

Learning to Recognize and Understand the Spirit behind an Agenda:

Slavery, Racism and Modern Race Baiting

Whether people want to admit it or not, good and evil can believe they are working toward the same goal.  In such a case, the only thing that separates them is how they go about achieving those goals.  Therefore, we must learn to recognize and understand these goals and tactics and test them to determine whether they are in keeping with Natural Law.  Once we can do this, we will be better able to determine whether a given agenda works toward good, or evil.  Continue reading “Historic Revisionism: If It Had Not Been For Whites, Blacks Might Still Be Slaves”

Repeating History: Obama, the EPA and Congress

Learning to Recognize and Understand the Spirit behind an Agenda:

Obama, the EPA and Congress

I readily admit that I have a world view that leads me to see the repeating cycles of history as being somehow connected to the spirits that drive human action.  Whatever others may call it, or however they may describe it, there can be no doubt that these repeating cycles are real.  And, though the specifics manner in which these repetitions occur may differ with each cycle, the ultimate goal and the tactics employed tend to remain the same.  Continue reading “Repeating History: Obama, the EPA and Congress”

Lawlessness: Promoting Chaos and Subverting the Rule of Law through Euphemism

Progressives love to use language manipulation as a weapon.  They understand that they can influence (read that deceive) people who are not paying close attention simply by using different words to describe things that would otherwise elicit a negative reaction in the average person.  Now, I say Progressives because their affinity for word manipulation is among the most easily documented and demonstrated.  Continue reading “Lawlessness: Promoting Chaos and Subverting the Rule of Law through Euphemism”

The People’s Revolution: The Difference between ‘Feeling,’ ‘Understanding’ and ‘Wisdom’

This is a continuation of a point I made in my first post on this subject, The Welfare State: The Difference between ‘Feeling,’ ‘Understanding’ and ‘Wisdom’.  However, in this case, the point is made more clearly and more credibly because the two sources I cite to make my point were exempt from the problems most commonly associated with poverty.  Continue reading “The People’s Revolution: The Difference between ‘Feeling,’ ‘Understanding’ and ‘Wisdom’”

AGENDAS: Subverting American Education Through Islamic Influence

Subverting Education: Islamic Influence on American Education

The Re-Writing of History in U.S. Text Books

WARNING!  This nation is under a deliberate and coordinated attack by the forces of Islam.  This is not ‘Islamaphobia,’ nor is it a condemnation of individual Muslims.  It is a fact, and my condemnation is of the religion, but not necessarily all of its followers.  For the most part, the average Muslim lives in a state of deception.  But the average American doesn’t know or understand enough about Islam to recognize the Truth of my words, let alone the truth of the threat we face.  This post is not meant to malign or attack Islam, but to educate you by detailing how Islamic influences have started to invade our public education system and is currently re-writing history while replacing America’s heritage with a false narrative that is decidedly pro-Islamic.  This is a long post because it has to be, and even then, it only scratches the surface of this issue.  Still, I implore you to read it through to the end – especially the last three paragraphs. Continue reading “AGENDAS: Subverting American Education Through Islamic Influence”

The Welfare State: The Difference between ‘Feeling,’ ‘Understanding’ and ‘Wisdom’

If a man is not a socialist by the time he is 20, he has no heart. If he is not a conservative by the time he is 40, he has no brain.

Have you ever heard this quote before?  It is often attributed to Churchill, but has been around long before him (for more info).  But who said it is not as important as the Truth in the words. Continue reading “The Welfare State: The Difference between ‘Feeling,’ ‘Understanding’ and ‘Wisdom’”

Political Labels: The History of “Conservative/Conservatism”

Do you know what the word “Conservative” means?  The term actually has a definition, but that definition has changed over the years because different political ideologies have attempted to claim the term to describe themselves.  This has resulted in no small amount of confusion as to what someone means when they say “Conservative.”  Originally, the term “Conservative” was used to describe a political ideology most commonly credited to Sir Edmund Burke.  And the “Conservative” ideology for which he is credited for developing was associated with the conservation of whatever political system happened to be in place at the time.  However, before we go any further, let’s look at the dictionary definition of “conservative:” Continue reading “Political Labels: The History of “Conservative/Conservatism””
