Pieces Of The Puzzle: Indications Of Federal Involvement In And Takeover Of National Education

One of the problems we have in understanding what is going on so we can see more of the ‘big picture’ is that the picture is larger than we realize and, thus, has more pieces than we may have suspected.  So the best we can do is look for as many pieces of the puzzle as we can find.  If you have been following my series on education and how it was co-opted by the American Progressive movement to allow them an avenue through which they can engineer their ‘ideal society,’ then this post will help you see additional pieces to that section of the puzzle.  Once again, you need to remember that we are not trying to spin conspiracy theories, but to understand what has been said by the people who have driven our society and run our social institutions and then apply what they said to the news of the day to see if they align.  If they do, then it is not ‘proof’ that they are connected, or even that the plans these people expressed are in place and succeeding – but they do indirectly suggest this is exactly what is happening.  And the more of these indirect indicators we can find, the more confident we can be that they are part of the agenda advanced by those who seek to control us. Now, with that said, here are two more possible pieces to the education section of our puzzle:

White House: President Obama to ‘Fundamentally Rethink & Reshape’ Higher Education

I will leave you to read the rest of this story, but the title alone should be enough to cause you some concern.  The Constitution does not grant the federal government any authority over the education of our children, so any federal control over our education system is a violation of the federal government’s Constitutional authority.  What’s more, there is absolutely no reason for the central government to have anything to do with education in a free and self-governing society.  In fact, it isn’t even the proper role of State government.  Education of its children is best and properly should be left to individual communities.  In this sense, federal seizure of control over our education system represents an attack on the social contract that formed our society, and – in the area of education – this makes the federal government an enemy of the people.  So, why would the federal government want to take control over our education system?

Well, this is what I have been trying to answer throughout my series on Social Engineering and Education.  The American Progressive movement has openly stated that they believe they can use ‘scientific methods’ to engineer the ‘ideal society’ and that ‘education’ is one of the primary means by which this goal can be accomplished.  This has been a reoccurring theme since John Dewey in the late 19th Century, and was re-enforced by Woodrow Wilson when he was in the American collegiate system.  This chain has remained unbroken, passing through Bill Ayres and, now, Obama.  This is why it is crucial that we know and understand the ideologies that drive these people: so we can better understand what they are doing and why they are doing it.

Here is the second story, and this one is important because it represents one of those rare times when the people working behind the scenes slip and let the Truth slip:

Media Matters Accidentally Speaks the Truth, Calling Common Core ‘An Obama Administration Education Initiative’

Defenders of the national education standards like to insist that the initiative was “state-led” and is therefore not a federal takeover of the public education system.

But in its attack on Fox News for airing a video clip about Common Core’s new way of doing math, Media Matters accidentally spoke the truth: The standards are “an Obama administration education initiative.”

Now, consider another aspect of the whole education system and government control.  Common Core – an Obama initiative – will eventually force everyone who wants to go to college to meet federal standards.  These standards have less to do with actual education and everything to do with shaping the model citizen.  If you do not conform, you will not go to a public college; and if you do not go to college, you do not get a ‘good’ job in corporate America.  Then, even if you get to college, you must go through the federal government to get student aid and student loans.  The government then collects the interest on those loans, enriching the government’s corporate friends, who are allowed to charge significantly higher rates than that which are justified by the risk considering the federal government has made the American people the guarantors of these loans.  The government then uses bankruptcy law to further protect its corporate friends by making it impossible to list student loans as part of a bankruptcy claim. (‘corporate’ America is an important and related issue and we will address it shortly).

Please understand, this all has the appearance of being connected because they are.  When you start reading what these people have written – especially to each other – you will see that they seriously study how to manipulate people.  To them, it is a science, and we will be getting to that, too.
