In his recent interview with Glenn Beck, Grover Norquist claimed that his connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and other subordinate Islamic organizations was intended to help stabilize the Middle East by promoting democracy and free trade.  In this interview, Norquist claimed that he had someone else read the Qur’an for him, and that this person determined the Qur’an supports democracy and private property rights.  So, as Norquist sees it, this means Islam can be ‘modernized.’  Throughout the interview, Norquist continuously claimed his goal is to bring Islam out of the Thirteenth Century.  However, there is a major problem with this claim: it is not true!  First, Muhammad was very forceful in asserting that Islam does not change!  Next, the Qur’an does not allow for democracy, and it only provides property rights for Muslims.  If you are not a Muslim, you have very few rights at all, let alone property rights.  Sadly, this is one of the areas where Beck’s ignorance got in his way as he did not correct Norquist on any of these point.  (in my opinion, this is caused by his Spiritual blindness).  But it is worse than this.  Norquist is married to a Muslim, so he is not ignorant of these fact.  This means Norquist knows full-well that he is lying about Islam. When it comes to Spiritual matters, I have been and will continue to be an out-spoken critic of Glenn Beck.  However, when it comes to matters of investigative reporting and education on historic events, I will laud Beck and the people who work with them.  They took down Van Jones, and exposed George Soros and the TIDES Foundation.  Historically, Beck is the only reason America now knows about and understands the American Progressive movement.  And now, although he still has it wrong on Spiritual matters, Beck is at least starting to report on the history of Islam, especially the Muslim Brotherhood.  It is this investigation into Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood that lead Beck and his people to another piece of the puzzle.  While many ‘Conservatives’ have been quick to condemn Obama for giving aid and comfort to America’s enemies in the Middle east while turning against Israel, we have neglected the evidence condemning the Republican Party on the same counts.  Now Beck has exposed the connections, and the evidence is clear.  the reason the GOP has not and will not do anything to stop Obama’s treason is because they are partners in his crimes.  The GOP is supporting ‘Radical Muslim Terrorism!’ Continue reading “PIECES OF THE PUZZLE: GOP Support for the Muslim Brotherhood” →

Psalm 82:5

There was a time when I used to read prophecy literally.  I still believed it, but it caused problems for me.  I could not understand how I could rationalize my faith in Scripture and prophecy with what I know about the universe and how it works.  Consequently, I had a difficult time defending God’s Word against the attack of skeptics and scoffers.  But that was before I truly surrendered to the Lord and sought His will and His understanding.  Since then, I have come to understand that much of prophecy is symbolic.  The pictures it paints are meant to convey Spiritual messages.  Now, this does not mean there are not manifestations of these prophecies in the material world, because there are.  But the true meaning is usually in the symbol or Spiritual picture the prophet was painting rather than the meaning of the literal translations.  Sadly, a veil of blindness has fallen over the world.  It manifests itself in the form of ‘science,’ or ‘technology,’ but the effect is the same.  It has blinded man to the fact that God’s moral laws are as much a part of Natural Law as the laws we accept (i.e. physics).  Man has exalted himself to the throne of God, and God is using it to fulfill prophecy before our very eyes.  The foundations of the earth are being shaken and we do not see or understand. I was already going to write this post when I noticed my co-blogger, Texas95, had posted a link in the comments of my previous post.  When I opened that link, I discovered that it supported the subject I intended to write about.  My previous post was written the night before I attended a men’s group at our church where Rick Burgess of the Rick and Bubba Show was speaking.  The subject of Rick’s address centered around the subject of my last post: do you have a demonic belief in God, or have you truly made Him Lord of your life.  My youngest son accepted Christ last night, after he heard Rick speak.  I immediately knew there was no coincidence between my post and Rick’s address, just as I know now that Texas95’s link is not a coincidence.  Scripture tells us that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who believe in and trust on Him (Romans 8:28).  I know this is the Truth because I see it at work in my life and the lives of those around me.  It is also how I know that writing this post is obedience to God, and therein lies the subject of this post: the real duality in this world. The Humanist is dangerous because he actually studies human nature.  His goal is to learn the best ways to create, shape and direct public opinion.  To the Humanist, this is a science that can be mastered. It started with the Progressives under Woodrow Wilson, especially with a man named Edward Bernays.  Bernays is known as the father of propaganda, and he said propaganda is a weapon.  The NAZI’s actually credited Bernays (and the Wilson Administration) for teaching them how to use propaganda as a weapon.  Today, we can see the perfection of the process Bernay’s pioneered in action — if we know what to look for, that is.  The problem for most Americans is that we are the product of Humanist social engineering, which means we have not been taught what we need to know to spot this process.  We have to know a great deal of history before we can see it in action.  I do not claim to know everything I need to know, myself, but I know enough to spot it.  I hope to share what I have learned with you so you might learn to spot it too.  I will illustrate using the current narrative on the ‘crisis’ of ‘climate change.’ Continue reading “UNDERSTANDING HUMANISM: Crisis and Sacrifice in Action” →

LAWLESSNESS IN THE HEADLINES: The Death of the First Amendment

Have you heard?  The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled it is ‘Constitutional’ for our schools to teach Christianity to students.  They are not just teaching about the religion; they are teaching the religion.  The Court even ruled that it is ‘Constitutional’ for our schools to force students to dress as first century Christians, take on Christian names, pray to Yahweh and generally act like first century Christians for two full weeks.  What’s more, schools do not have to tell the parents, and parents cannot ‘opt their children out’ of the course.  This ruling goes so far as to protect the schools teaching students that Yahweh is not only real, He is the One True God.  But here is the biggest shocker: the ACLU has been totally silent on this matter!  This is the joining of Church and State, and with its ruling, the Ninth Court of Appeals has destroyed the First Amendment.  Oh!  There’s just one catch to this story: it wasn’t Christianity, it was Islam!

Are you a member of a cult?  Let me caution you against answering that question too quickly.  First, ask yourself whether or not you believe there are such things as objective fact/reality and universal morality?  If you do not, then there is a very good chance you have been indoctrinated by our schools and other supporting social institutions.  You see, one of the main characteristics of a cult is mind control.  We are all aware of a very common form of mind control, we just know it by another name: Political Correctness.  But that is all Political Correctness is: a form of mind control that traces its roots directly to Marxism and the Secular Humanist ideal upon which Marxism is built.  Our schools were taken over by Marxists nearly one hundred years ago, and they openly stated that they saw man as his own god, and that the teachers were the prophets of their new religion.*  However, the Secular Humanist understands that his ideal cannot be achieved in a society that embraces the belief that objective fact and universal morality exist.  This is why, for more than one hundred years now, our schools have en used to teach our students that there are no such things as objective fact or universal morality.  Political Correctness is the shield that was then put in place to protect whatever ground the Humanists manage to gain toward their goal of re-making humanity according to their hearts’ desires. LAWLESSNESS IN THE HEADLINES: The Whole LGBT Agenda is Lawless

I am going to demonstrates that — when it comes to speaking the truth — I am not afraid to grab and hold on to the third rail by saying that Dr. Carson was not entirely wrong in what he said about homosexuality being a choice.  There is plenty of evidence to suggest this is true, and those who are aware of the history behind the homosexual agenda understand this.  I suspect Dr. Carson is one of those who knows the truth of this history, and that it may have played a factor in his comments tot he media this past week.  Either way, the facts are clear: homosexuality is being used as a political tool, and the shield of political correctness is being used to protect that agenda.  You will likely feel it in the way you are reacting to this post now, or in the comments that are sure to follow.  I fully expect to be called a ‘homophobe’ and/or a ‘hater’ for writing this post.  But the PC attacks that are sure to follow those who try to expose the truth do not change that truth. There was a story in the news this past week or so — about a Baptist Pastor dropping his wife off at work at an abortion clinic.  When The Christian Post asked Pastor Chatman’s wife, Callie Chatman, how she could work at an abortion clinic, she said:

“I feel that we have all sinned. None of us are perfect. No sin is greater than any sin. I don’t know why, other than that’s the only decision [abortion] that a woman could make, that’s her right to make that decision, because that’s her body.”

What’s more, The Christian Post reports that Callie Chatman has also said:

“God forgives and we are not to judge,” 

Let me say this as clearly as I can.  I am not judging this woman’s salvation.  That is between her and God.  However, if she or anyone else calling themselves a Christian believes this excuse, you are not reading your Bible.  Scripture is clear on this point: God does not forgive unrepentant sin! For all the criticism I have aimed at him in the past few months, I still want my readers to know that there is still a great deal to learn from Glenn Beck.  Today, he explained the significance of something Netanyahu said in his speech this past week.  It has to do with the Book of Esther.  Unfortunately, Beck did not take the connections far enough.  I don’t know whether it is due to the fact that he did not think about it, or because does not as much as he needs to or the differences between his religion and the Christian faith prevent him from seeing it.  All I know is there is much, much more to Netanyahu’s speech and Biblical prophecy.  So much more that I feel compelled to share the connections I see so that those with eyes and ears will be able to see and hear as well. I have been hard on Glenn Beck on this and especially on my other blog, The OYL.  However, I do not mean to give the impression that I have anything against him, personally.  It’s just that I do not like the general direction he has been heading, and I am strongly opposed to the message he has been teaching to his audience.  A perfect example of where Beck and I differ can be found in his current position regarding the Constitution and the Libertarian ideal.  In the first hour of his 6 March 2015 radio show, Beck said that the Constitution and the Libertarian ideal are the two keys to ‘saving’ America.  In fact, he went so far as to say the Constitution was ‘divinely revealed.’ I couldn’t disagree with Beck any more than I do, but more than that, many of the founders disagreed with Beck’s current position on these matters.  If you are unsure about your own position on this issue, let me ask you to read and consider the rest of this post before you make a decision as to what you should believe … Continue reading →

It is a fact that science cannot prove anything.

This is why Steven Hawking made a huge mistake in judgment when, in his book, “The Grand Design,” he boasts that science has rendered philosophy obsolete.  The ignorance that Dr. Hawking exhibits in this claim is apparently exceed only by his arrogance.  One need but look to the definition of philosophy to know it is the foundation upon which the ‘scientific method‘ is built.  But, more than this, it is the rudder by which science is guided — lest ‘science’ cease to be the search for knowledge and understanding and become a religion instead.  Sadly, this is what ‘science’ has become for far too many of us. For those of you who follow The OYL, I just wanted to post a quick note to let you know I have been adding additional posts under the headers at the top of the page.  These posts will not be posted to the main blog.  This is so I do not overwhelm people with too many posts to quickly.  It is also so I can start building each of the headers into a form of mini class or tutorial on each of the titled subjects.  I hope this will make it easier to refer back to the material I post at a later date.  The purpose is not only to share what I am learning with others, but to help others share the material with their friends and family, as well.  So, if you have time, you may want to keep an eye on the headers whenever you visit.  I won’t announce it often, but I will be adding to them as frequently as possible.  There is a lot to do.

Recently, a friend of mine announced he was leaving face book because he was tired of the negative and destructive nature of the commentary that seems to dominate social media.  He lamented that people seem to have chosen sides and were more interested in trying to ‘beat’ their opponents than they were in trying to understand and build them up.  My friend is a Christian, so I know that what is really bothering him is the lack of love (agape love) in our society as a whole, but I wonder whether or not he is even aware that this division has been intentionally manufactured? Yesterday, a Face Book friend of mine caused me to confront the message in Bonhoeffer’s words.  My friend announced he was leaving Face Book because all people do on there is complain, and complaining only serves to divide us and tear us apart rather than unite and build us up.  I understand his position, but I’m conflicted as to whether or not I can agree with his decision.  You see, there have been times when the things my friend posted on his Face Book page did help me.  Sometimes they caused me to examine the intentions behind my actions; other times, they gave me comfort and inspiration.  Now, i my friend helped me, how many more has he helped without ever knowing it?  This is what brought me face-to-face with Bonhoeffer’s warning.  I have realized that, if my friend leaves Face Book, the voices of unrest will still be causing division, but there will be one less voice to counter those voices of division and unrest.  In other words, if my friend leaves Face Book because he sees evil, then he will be silent in the face of evil.  I pray he changes his mind, but — if nothing else — my friend has caused me to make some changes in how I will act.  He has convinced me to stop adding my voice to the chorus of division, and he has changed my motivation for blogging.  Continue reading “A New Purpose; A New Attitude; A New Direction” →

For years, I have been trying to show people that we — modern America — are following a parallel path to that traveled by the Germans in the 1930’s.  And for years, people have attacked me for trying to warn them about the path we are traveling.  I do not blame them: it is very difficult to see history unfolding in our own times.  But for those of us who have studied history — and more so for those who have learned to see history through the lens of Scripture — the signs are as clear as the noses on our faces.  So, if we see the danger coming, what would you rather we do: remain silent and allow you to be comfortable in your ignorance until you perish, or warn you in spite of the backlash we know you will aim at us?  Well, I know what Scripture tells me about the watchman who sees danger coming and does not sound the warning, and I will not have another’s blood on my hands.  So I am trying to warn those who will listen so that I will be held blameless for the blood of those who will not.  It is for this reason — to warn you — that I tell you the spirit of NAZI Germany now rules our land!
