I fully understand this will not be a popular post, so I want to start by making it very clear: I oppose slavery — in every form!  That said, I heard something today to which I had to respond.  I heard someone claim that the Confederacy was not about States’ rights.  The thinking is, because the Confederate Constitution mandated slavery for inclusion in the Confederacy.  But this is a fallacy.  Look why the Confederate States seceded: because they were being told they could not continue the practice of slavery.  This is the flip side of the coin.  If it is not about States’ rights to say you must be a slave State, then how is it about States’ rights to say you cannot be a slave State?  The truth is, the Civil War was about the right of the States to secede from the union.  It could just as well have been over some other issue, but because it was over slavery, the emotion of the issue has clouded the principle involved.  The key is to remember that people can choose wrongly, and in my opinion, that is what the Confederate States did chose wrongly.  However, they had the right to secede, and the North took that right from them.  Oh, and this is not my opinion, it is the opinion of the men who created the nation: Continue reading “LESSONS IN LOGIC: Is the Confederate Battle Flag a Symbol of States’ Rights?” →

You read that title correctly.  If Obama can force neighborhoods to accept people they would rather not live with, then there is not right to gay marriage.  The freedom of association is a Constitutionally protected right.  It falls under the 9th and 10th Amendments.  This is also where you find the right to contract.  Both rights form the foundation for any claim homosexuals may make to a right to marriage.  By claiming he has the authority to force communities to accept people with whom they would rather not associate, Obama is claiming the freedom of association and right to contract are NOT Constitutional rights.  Therefore, there can be no right to marriage and it can be outlawed by popular vote of the people.

At the same time, however, when a man claims authority to force and deny the same rights according to his personal whim, he is claiming to be a dictator.  Therefore, if  Obama is going to argue that he can force integrate communities while asserting that gay marriage is still a right, then Obama is claiming the law means whatever he says it means.  That is the very definition of a dictator.

So which is it, people?  Are we going to get hold of ourselves and return to sanity, or are we going to allow this madman to lead us down the same road that Germany, Italy, Russia, China and Cuba have traveled?

I do not mean to sound insensitive, but this tragedy is yet another clear example of the insanity which now dominates our society.  I just hope you will recognize the satire in this post.  It is used intentionally to make what is a very important point.

THE CHARLESTON SHOOTING DID NOT HAPPEN!  It couldn’t have happened.  We know this because the news is reporting the ‘alleged’ shooter violated gun control laws and, as we all know, once we make something illegal, people can no longer do that action.  So, if the Charleston shooting actually happened, it means laws do not control human behavior.  And if laws do not control the human heart, that would mean passing more laws would be insane — and we know we are not insane.  Therefore, because we know that laws are the only thing that keep people from killing everyone around them, we know the Charleston shooting must be a lie. Glenn Beck has repeatedly attacked people like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson for going to places where there is civil unrest.  In Beck’s eyes, these people don’t help the situation; they add tot he problems of a community that is already suffering as it deals with some recent tragedy.  If you listen regularly, you have no doubt heard Beck telling his audience that we must stop worrying about our interests and start standing on our principles.  Then he goes and destroys any good he may have done by acting like a hypocrite and going to Charleston after this most recent shooting.  Yes, sadly, his visit is hypocrisy, and if you give me a moment, I believe I can explain it so even Mr. Beck will see it. Have you seen this story about the white woman claiming she is black?  She actually held a managing position in the NAACP.  Now her parents are telling the world she is a fraud, but every time she is interviewed, she denies that she is white.

Now, this is simple logic.  Either this woman — and everyone who defends her claims — is crazy (as in clinically), or we should all claim to be black and end racism — and all need for these expensive government affirmative action programs while we’re at it. If you honestly want to understand what is happening to America and how it is being done, one of the three most important ‘secular’ books you can read is George Orwell’s novel, “1984.”  In this novel, the main character, Winston, lives in one of three huge States.  Oceania is a conglomerate of all the English speaking nations of the early 20th Century.  It is run by a governing body referred to as ‘The Party.’  That Party is called Insoc, which derived its name from melding the words English and Socialism.  In “1984,” the Party controls everything and keeps close tabs on every aspect of every citizen’s life to make sure they do exactly as the Party dictates.  Most of the monitoring is done through TV sets that have built in cameras and microphones.  Now, flash forward to today and you will find that ‘The Party’ goes by many names.  In America, it is most commonly called ‘Progressivism,’ or ‘Statism.”  And the monitoring is done through ‘smart TV’ sets that do have cameras in them that watch you watching your TV, but the State also uses every other means of electronic equipment to monitor your every move.  If it is connected to the Internet, Big Brother is Watching!  What does this mean for you?  I’ll explain. If you listen to Glenn Beck, please read this post.  You must understand how you are being deceived, and why.

Once again, Beck is trying to deceive his listeners.  If you listened to his show today (June 16, 2015) you know that he started out condemning people who redefine words, or who make words useless by destroying any and all meaning assigned to them.  Then he did the exact same thing concerning Islam.  In promoting his new book, “It Is About Islam,” Beck makes up a new word, ‘Islamisist,’ and redefines two others, Islam and Muslim.  In doing so, he deceives his listener only, since he boasts that his book will come from the Qur’an and Hadith, it means Beck is admitting he is intentionally deceiving his audience.  The dictionary defines this as a lie, now I’d like to prove that Beck is lying to you — and I want to do it by sharing Muhammad’s own words with you. I recently wrote a post explaining that the United States is now a Fascist nation (yes, just like NAZI Germany).  You can find that post here.  In that post, I explain how the government — and not corporations — is actually dictating what can and cannot be done in this nation, and that these dictates are independent of the law.  Well, today I saw this story which, if you read my first post, is exactly what I said is happening and will happen more and more as we slide farther into dictatorship:

What McDonald’s has just done proves that ‘Big Business’ is not in charge of this nation.  Corporations are not running our government; our government is running big business. Satan is the great deceiver.  His deceptions can come in many forms.  He may twist words and tell half-truths as he did when he deceived Eve in the garden, or he may omit essential Truth as he did when he tempted Christ.  Whatever the form, you must understand that when you hear someone who is intentionally deceiving you, you are hearing the voice of Satan.  This applies to me, it applies to our leaders, our pastors: it applies to everyone — even the Apostle, Peter (Mat 16:23). I have been reading stories about Americans blaming America for the creation of ISIS.  I do not mean to be rude, but if you believe that, you do not know enough about Islam to be making public comments about current events in the Middle East.  ISIS has nothing to do with the U.S. — period!  If there had never been a U.S., ISIS would have still come to be, just maybe in a different form.  We are not dealing with the effects of U.S. policy here as much as we are dealing with Islamic prophecy, and we in the West had better learn this and learn it fast!  Islam teaches that you must believe in ‘The Last days.’  If you do not, you are an apostate and are to be killed immediately.  If you believe in the Islamic ‘Last Days,’ then you believe that all the earth was once Muslim and has been stolen and must be re-taken by Jihad.  I know the West does not believe that but what we believe is immaterial — it is what Muhammad taught and it is what ISIS is trying to do.  ISIS is just obeying Muhammad’s commands.  It’s just that, in this case, ISIS is trying to regain the land lost when the Allies won WW I.  Read this earlier post and you might start to understand why the people blaming the U.S. for the creation of ISIS are proving to the world that they are dangerously ignorant and should stop talking about the Middle East:

Whether you believe it or not, there is a God.  He is not dead.  He created this world and He reigns from on high.  He also set laws by which His creation is governed.  Whether they be Natural Law or Revealed Law, they are real and they are faithfully enforced.  But God is merciful, so He has designed His laws so that they allow us time to learn from our mistakes while there is still time to correct our hearts.  However, if we refuse to learn or to accept that He is God; if we chose instead to rebel and to reject Him and His Laws, then Scripture says He will give us over to our depravity.  And depravity it is.  How else could a person believe in their heart that they are justified in ruling over the lives of many because they ‘love’ them?  If not depravity, then what do we call it when people come to a point where they believe they love people so much that they must kill them?  And that killing them is for their own good?  Well, there are those who are of this spirit of ‘love’ — ‘love’ that drives them to control and to kill — and many of them are now pushing the world to the edge of the abyss because they refuse to acknowledge and conform to God’s Laws. I would like to address a political aspect of our physical world, but I have to tackle a tough aspect of the Spiritual world before I can do so.  The subject I have to tackle is tough because many believers have a tendency to resist sound doctrine.  They prefer to cling to the things that men have told them rather than to the Word of God.  I am no exception, but I am trying to work on learning and embracing what God’s Word actually says.  In this case, I am talking about the idea that Scripture foretells of a world leader who will be possessed by Satan and usher in the return of Christ and the end of this world as we know it.  Those who believe this story know this figure as ‘The Anti-Christ.’  The problem is, Scripture does not speak of such a figure in prophecy.  In fact, the term ‘anti-christ’ is only used four times in the entire Bible, and in all four cases, we are told it does not refer to a single person, but to a spirit.  Many believers do not want to accept this, and they will point to other passages in Scripture to support their belief that prophecy does predict an Anti-Christ.’  Daniel 9:26 is one of the most common passages sited by those who refuse to accept John’s admonishments about the spirit of anti-christ.  Unfortunately, if they had read Daniel a little closer, I think they would see that Gabriel has already settled this whole debate.  So, before I address my worldly political topic, let’s look at Daniel 9;26 and ‘the prince who is to come.’ Continue reading “PROPHECY: ‘The Prince Who is to Come’ and the Spirit of Socialism” →

Earlier today, I heard some people mocking the idea that people are hearing the trumpets of the apocalypse.  Apparently, people have been reporting mysterious sounds in the sky.  It is been happening for ten years now, and has been reported all over the world.  There are even recordings of the sounds.  So far, no one has been able to identify them, or explain what is causing them.  But when some suggest that these sounds good be connected to the trumpets of the apocalypse, most people dismiss it and laugh at the idea.  That’s what the people I heard today were doing.  For your own sake, do not join them.  Learn about God and how He works.  “I didn’t know” will not be an excuse on judgment day.  His warnings have been showing up everywhere, and His appointed watchmen have been sounding the alarm, but most people are ignoring them.  Please, I am begging you, do not be among those who ignore or scoff at God’s warnings.  Judgment is coming!
