Are you a member of a cult?  Let me caution you against answering that question too quickly.  First, ask yourself whether or not you believe there are such things as objective fact/reality and universal morality?  If you do not, then there is a very good chance you have been indoctrinated by our schools and other supporting social institutions.  You see, one of the main characteristics of a cult is mind control.  We are all aware of a very common form of mind control, we just know it by another name: Political Correctness.  But that is all Political Correctness is: a form of mind control that traces its roots directly to Marxism and the Secular Humanist ideal upon which Marxism is built.  Our schools were taken over by Marxists nearly one hundred years ago, and they openly stated that they saw man as his own god, and that the teachers were the prophets of their new religion.*  However, the Secular Humanist understands that his ideal cannot be achieved in a society that embraces the belief that objective fact and universal morality exist.  This is why, for more than one hundred years now, our schools have en used to teach our students that there are no such things as objective fact or universal morality.  Political Correctness is the shield that was then put in place to protect whatever ground the Humanists manage to gain toward their goal of re-making humanity according to their hearts’ desires. LAWLESSNESS IN THE HEADLINES: The Whole LGBT Agenda is Lawless

I am going to demonstrates that — when it comes to speaking the truth — I am not afraid to grab and hold on to the third rail by saying that Dr. Carson was not entirely wrong in what he said about homosexuality being a choice.  There is plenty of evidence to suggest this is true, and those who are aware of the history behind the homosexual agenda understand this.  I suspect Dr. Carson is one of those who knows the truth of this history, and that it may have played a factor in his comments tot he media this past week.  Either way, the facts are clear: homosexuality is being used as a political tool, and the shield of political correctness is being used to protect that agenda.  You will likely feel it in the way you are reacting to this post now, or in the comments that are sure to follow.  I fully expect to be called a ‘homophobe’ and/or a ‘hater’ for writing this post.  But the PC attacks that are sure to follow those who try to expose the truth do not change that truth. There was a story in the news this past week or so — about a Baptist Pastor dropping his wife off at work at an abortion clinic.  When The Christian Post asked Pastor Chatman’s wife, Callie Chatman, how she could work at an abortion clinic, she said:

“I feel that we have all sinned. None of us are perfect. No sin is greater than any sin. I don’t know why, other than that’s the only decision [abortion] that a woman could make, that’s her right to make that decision, because that’s her body.”

What’s more, The Christian Post reports that Callie Chatman has also said:

“God forgives and we are not to judge,” 

Let me say this as clearly as I can.  I am not judging this woman’s salvation.  That is between her and God.  However, if she or anyone else calling themselves a Christian believes this excuse, you are not reading your Bible.  Scripture is clear on this point: God does not forgive unrepentant sin! For all the criticism I have aimed at him in the past few months, I still want my readers to know that there is still a great deal to learn from Glenn Beck.  Today, he explained the significance of something Netanyahu said in his speech this past week.  It has to do with the Book of Esther.  Unfortunately, Beck did not take the connections far enough.  I don’t know whether it is due to the fact that he did not think about it, or because does not as much as he needs to or the differences between his religion and the Christian faith prevent him from seeing it.  All I know is there is much, much more to Netanyahu’s speech and Biblical prophecy.  So much more that I feel compelled to share the connections I see so that those with eyes and ears will be able to see and hear as well. I have been hard on Glenn Beck on this and especially on my other blog, The OYL.  However, I do not mean to give the impression that I have anything against him, personally.  It’s just that I do not like the general direction he has been heading, and I am strongly opposed to the message he has been teaching to his audience.  A perfect example of where Beck and I differ can be found in his current position regarding the Constitution and the Libertarian ideal.  In the first hour of his 6 March 2015 radio show, Beck said that the Constitution and the Libertarian ideal are the two keys to ‘saving’ America.  In fact, he went so far as to say the Constitution was ‘divinely revealed.’ I couldn’t disagree with Beck any more than I do, but more than that, many of the founders disagreed with Beck’s current position on these matters.  If you are unsure about your own position on this issue, let me ask you to read and consider the rest of this post before you make a decision as to what you should believe … Continue reading →

I know there will be many people who will object to this statement, but their objections do not change the truth of my assertion:

It is a fact that science cannot prove anything.

This is why Steven Hawking made a huge mistake in judgment when, in his book, “The Grand Design,” he boasts that science has rendered philosophy obsolete.  The ignorance that Dr. Hawking exhibits in this claim is apparently exceed only by his arrogance.  One need but look to the definition of philosophy to know it is the foundation upon which the ‘scientific method‘ is built.  But, more than this, it is the rudder by which science is guided — lest ‘science’ cease to be the search for knowledge and understanding and become a religion instead.  Sadly, this is what ‘science’ has become for far too many of us. For those of you who follow The OYL, I just wanted to post a quick note to let you know I have been adding additional posts under the headers at the top of the page.  These posts will not be posted to the main blog.  This is so I do not overwhelm people with too many posts to quickly.  It is also so I can start building each of the headers into a form of mini class or tutorial on each of the titled subjects.  I hope this will make it easier to refer back to the material I post at a later date.  The purpose is not only to share what I am learning with others, but to help others share the material with their friends and family, as well.  So, if you have time, you may want to keep an eye on the headers whenever you visit.  I won’t announce it often, but I will be adding to them as frequently as possible.  There is a lot to do.

Recently, a friend of mine announced he was leaving face book because he was tired of the negative and destructive nature of the commentary that seems to dominate social media.  He lamented that people seem to have chosen sides and were more interested in trying to ‘beat’ their opponents than they were in trying to understand and build them up.  My friend is a Christian, so I know that what is really bothering him is the lack of love (agape love) in our society as a whole, but I wonder whether or not he is even aware that this division has been intentionally manufactured? Yesterday, a Face Book friend of mine caused me to confront the message in Bonhoeffer’s words.  My friend announced he was leaving Face Book because all people do on there is complain, and complaining only serves to divide us and tear us apart rather than unite and build us up.  I understand his position, but I’m conflicted as to whether or not I can agree with his decision.  You see, there have been times when the things my friend posted on his Face Book page did help me.  Sometimes they caused me to examine the intentions behind my actions; other times, they gave me comfort and inspiration.  Now, i my friend helped me, how many more has he helped without ever knowing it?  This is what brought me face-to-face with Bonhoeffer’s warning.  I have realized that, if my friend leaves Face Book, the voices of unrest will still be causing division, but there will be one less voice to counter those voices of division and unrest.  In other words, if my friend leaves Face Book because he sees evil, then he will be silent in the face of evil.  I pray he changes his mind, but — if nothing else — my friend has caused me to make some changes in how I will act.  He has convinced me to stop adding my voice to the chorus of division, and he has changed my motivation for blogging.  Continue reading “A New Purpose; A New Attitude; A New Direction” →

For years, I have been trying to show people that we — modern America — are following a parallel path to that traveled by the Germans in the 1930’s.  And for years, people have attacked me for trying to warn them about the path we are traveling.  I do not blame them: it is very difficult to see history unfolding in our own times.  But for those of us who have studied history — and more so for those who have learned to see history through the lens of Scripture — the signs are as clear as the noses on our faces.  So, if we see the danger coming, what would you rather we do: remain silent and allow you to be comfortable in your ignorance until you perish, or warn you in spite of the backlash we know you will aim at us?  Well, I know what Scripture tells me about the watchman who sees danger coming and does not sound the warning, and I will not have another’s blood on my hands.  So I am trying to warn those who will listen so that I will be held blameless for the blood of those who will not.  It is for this reason — to warn you — that I tell you the spirit of NAZI Germany now rules our land! If you have struggled to see the things people have been trying to warn America about in our government and corporate America.  If you have never been able to understand the connections that are supposed to illustrate these warnings.  If you are one of those who listens, but still believe that people such as myself are getting all worked up about nothing.  Then I want you to do yourself a favor.  Find a copy of ‘Atlas Shrugged’ by Ayn Rand and read it.  But don’t just read it.  Read it as though you were reading an internal document describing how ‘they’ plan to take over the country, and when you do, every time you read about the rail roads in the book, think about Internet providers instead.  If you do this, then you may finally see how our nation is being destroyed.  You will see what the government and big business are trying to do, why they want to do it and how they plan to do it.  You will see how they convince themselves that their actions are ‘good’ because they are working for ‘fairness’ and ‘justice.’  What’s more, you will see and — with luck — understand the other side of this conflict: the business owner.  You will understand what really motivates the people who build and create and who actually make the nation work.  Continue reading “PIECES OF THE PUZZLE: ‘Atlas Shrugged’ in Net Neutrality” →

There is a lot of doubt as to what — if any — religious convictions Obama may have.  I, however, have no doubt.  I believe Obama is a Muslim.  I believe this because I understand Islam, and have seen Obama give public clues to others who know and understand Islam that are meant to affirm that he has not left Islam.  However, for those who still may question whether or not Obama is a Muslim, let me make my case.  Then, if nothing else, you will be more informed, and thus, better able to form your own opinion. Bill Neigh is known as ‘the science guy,’ even though he is an engineer, not a scientist.  Well, let’s play that game and see how ‘fair’ the ‘other side’ wants to be when it comes to ‘science’ and Islam.  This video was brought to my attention by a reader of The OYL.  It is about 45 minutes  long, and the Dr. can be a little dry in his delivery, but he uses more ‘science’ to prove that Islamic Jihad caused the Dark Ages than Bill Neigh uses to prove ‘climate change.’  Only, in this video, historical fact, as well as archeology and economics, back-up the argument against Islam.  Bill Neigh cannot claim the same.  In fact, the data is against Bill Neigh and the climate-gate hoaxers.  We know they have had to force what data they have to fit their narrative and fake much more to support their agenda.  Dr. Warner does not have to do that.  All he does is present the facts we have forgotten or were never taught and then ask you to re-consider another understanding of history that is anything but kind to Islam. It also puts the Crusades in proper context to world history.  All-in-all, this is a ‘must see’ for anyone who honestly wants to understand Islam.  So, get yourself a drink, sit back and watch the following video.

How do I convey the depth of my pain to you?  The written word cannot show you the pain on my face nor let you hear the anguish in my voice.  All I can do is tell you that my heart is melting within me for fear of where this nation’s people are heading.  We like to think we are smarter than others, but many nations before us have believed the same thing.  Before God destroyed Israel and sent them into Babylonian captivity, He warned Israel, through the prophet Jeremiah, that they were not as smart as they thought they were.  Actually, in the book of Jeremiah alone, God calls Israel stupid five times, and says they are going to come to ruin because they have no understanding.  In Isaiah 5:20-21, God condemns people who turn reality and truth on their heads.  We may think this all ancient history, and some may even think it little more than myth, but one thing remains true: we have not ‘progressed’ a single step since the ancient times of Israel and her prophets.  The only thing that has changed is the people and places and the lies we tell ourselves, but we are still putting good for evil and evil for good and telling ourselves that those who do not understand this inverting of reality ares imply too stupid to understand our nuance.  It is when a people actually start to believe this sort of madness that insanity rules.  Insanity such as this: Continue reading “At What Point Does Insanity Rule?” →

Let me ask you a question.  How often have you heard the term ‘fascist’ being used to attack someone?  In our society, this is a very powerful attack.  In many ways, it is akin to being called a racist or a ‘homophobe.’  This term is not the property of any one political orientation; it is used by people on all sides of the political spectrum.  So, please, let’s set aside any political emotions that we may feel in connection to this word.  In fact, let’s grant that everyone we have ever heard using it mean well.  Let’s just assume they are trying to protect individual rights and liberty.  Now let me ask you another question.  Of the people you can remember using the term ‘fascist,’ how many of them actually understand what the term means?  How often have you thought about it?  Do you know what it is or how it manifests itself in the ‘real world?’  Well, in the event that you have never really thought about it, let me explain what fascism is and how it works by using a very clear example that just happens to be in the news today: Net Neutrality. In recent days, I have been very harsh on Glenn Beck concerning Islam.  In my opinion, Beck has failed to properly educate himself as to what Islam is and what it teaches.  To the extent Beck has researched Islam, I have been even more critical of him for not being honest with his audience.  Well, it may be that an apology is in order as it seems Beck may have finally started down the path to Truth in regard to Islam.  Unfortunately, it took the establishment of the first official Islamic tribunal being announced in Texas to finally get Beck to start down this path.  Yesterday, 9 February 2015, Beck aired an interview with two of the judges from this Islamic tribunal on his TV program (it is essential you read this story and watch the video, as this post assumes you have done so).  For once, Beck seems to be admitting that the problem is Islam (not individual Muslims, but Islam, itself).  However, Beck still has not gone far enough in helping his audience understand the threat of Islam or Shari’a law.  I hope this post will explain why I feel it is essential that everyone in the West know and understand Shari’a law. Many of you who follow my blog may be wondering why I am many other Christians say that Glenn Beck (and Mormons in general) are not Christian.  I can assure you, it is not because I think I can enforce my opinion upon another.  It is because Scripture tells me Mormons are not Christians.  If I were to accept Beck’s reasoning, then I would have to accept the argument that Muslims are Christians as well.  Mormons and Christians both claim to believe in Jesus as the Messiah, so, by this definition, they are ‘Christian.’  But this is no different from any of the attacks Beck has made against ‘Progressives’ for perverting the language to deceive the uniformed listener.  I do not want you to be uniformed, so, if you want to know why I know I am correct when I say Beck is not a Christian, please read the rest of this post.
