Rowan County Clerk, Kim Davis, is a role model for all Christians who seek to obey the Lord rather than men.  I have heard many people claiming she ‘broke the law,’ including at least one friend of mine who used to be a pastor.  The problem is, Mrs. Davis did not break the law.– the courts have.  There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that speaks to marriage because marriage has its roots in religion, and the Constitution specifically forbids Congress from making law in this area.  Therefore, the Court had no jurisdiction, and any court that acts on the basis of the Supreme Court’s over-reach joins in their usurpation of power.  But that is a different conversation because — legal or not — the courts have told Mrs Davis she must violate a right that is Constitutionally protected (her right to conscience/religion) or go to jail.  So, in true allegiance and obedience to the teachings of Roman’s 13, Mrs. Davis chose to go to jail.  In so doing, she has made herself a true role model and an excellent example for Christians who wish to obey the Lord rather than men. OK, this is the written word.  I cannot convey my facial expressions, or the tone of my voice.  All I can do is beg you to accept that, as I write this, I am conflicted in my Spirit.  I know that, as a nation and individually, we need to turn back to God.  We need to repent and beg God to forgive us.  I wish that I heard Church leaders speaking out on this as loudly as Glenn Beck, but, sadly, Beck is the only voice I hear on the national scene calling for a return to God.  He says the right words, and he sounds like he is on the path to righteousness, but this is why I am conflicted.  I do not want to tear down; Scripture commands that we build up instead.  But Scripture also commands that we edify, and because I know that Beck is deceiving his audience, I find myself torn between the personal desire to stay silent and hope that some good will come from what he is trying to get people to do and warning anyone who will listen that Beck is still a voice of deception. I heard a talk radio host discussing Donald Trumps handling of Jorge Ramos during a recent press conference.  This radio host said that he believes what we were seeing in Trump is the start of the ‘top down’ aspect of the ‘Top Down, Bottom Up, Inside Out’ strategy for political change as described by Van Jones.  Now, I must confess, were it not for this radio host, I doubt we would know anything about Van Jones’s strategy.  So I would expect that, as the man who explained it to the nation, this host would have a better understanding of how the strategy works and what type of people employ it.  Unfortunately, as evidenced by his linking it to Trump, this host has demonstrated that he may not have a solid understanding of the mechanisms in play here.  This is troubling because this radio host continues to ‘educate’ his audience of ten million plus, but, if he does not understand how this strategy works, he is likely to point his listeners in the wrong direction.  This only works to the advantage of those who actually are using the strategy to affect political change. CITATIONS FROM THE QUR’AN & HADITH

As part of my personal studies into Islam, I have been compiling a list of citations from the Qur’an and Hadith.  I believe it is past time I start posting them so those who are interested can read them for themselves.  So, starting today, I will post as many of the citations as I can each day until I have everything I have collected posted under a single heading.  You can find it at the top of this blog, under the heading of UNDERSTANDING ISLAM, and sub-heading of CITATIONS FROM THE QUR’AN & HADITH.  If you have any interest in what Islam actually teaches, or you have ever doubted me when I have said I can provide many more than one or two quotes from Islam to support my claims, then I invite you to spend some time reading through the index I am creating.  I suspect it may do more to open your eyes than anything I can explain in a single post.

I have been struggling with something that I am convinced our society needs to face: how do we reform the NAZI ideology?  Yes, I’m serious.  How do we reform the NAZI ideology?  I ask this because of all the ‘good’ NAZIs who helped to save people in WW II.  In addition to these ‘good’ NAZIs, there were many more who didn’t agree with Hitler and the NAZI Party.  These were the ‘moderates’ who were happy to live their lives without killing Jews, using science to build a master race or going to war to expand the Reich.  Wasn’t it just the radicals in the NAZI Party leadership that were misinterpreting what National Socialism is all about who gave NAZI a bad name?  So, how do we reform NAZI ideology?  Or is the NAZI ideology so beyond redemption that we shouldn’t even try? If you have not already read the Qur’an and Hadith (sayings and customs of Muhammad), and you do not know the details of Muhammad’s life, reading Beck’s new book, “It IS about Islam,” will do you more harm than good.  It is not so much about what he explains about Islam as it is about how he presents it and especially about what he leaves out of the discussion.  If you are a regular reader, then you know I have issues with Beck when it comes to matters of faith — even Islam.  If you’re interested in why I say Beck’s book will cause more harm than good, then I’ll do my best to set my disagreement with him aside and explain where and how Beck goes wrong.   After you finish reading my explanation, then you’ll have to decide why he did it.  But one thing is for sure, if you check on the information I will present to support my case, you will see that I am telling the truth: this book does not help explain the confusion over the threat of Islam, it adds to it! I had high hopes for Glenn Beck’s new book, “It IS About Islam,” but they are fading fast.  I am only half way through the book, so I am happy to hold out that the patterns of the first half could still change.  However, given that Beck has intentionally inserted a false dichotomy into the forward to both Part I and Part II of this book, I do not have much hope that he will affect a meaningful change by the end of the book.  But more than this, I am concerned that, unless his readers have actually studied Islam as I have, they may accept this distorted view of the truth that Beck is presenting.  This is why I write: so that those who have ears to hear can know how they are being lead astray about Islam. I have Beck’s new book, “It IS about Islam,” and if you plan to read it, there is something you need to know before you do.  In many ways, Beck has finally arrived to the party, but true to form where Spiritual matters are concerned, he has missed the mark — again.  Still, this new book does have value.  It does accurately expose the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith.  Unfortunately, Beck cannot bring himself to report the whole truth about Islam.  He cannot resist inserting a fallacy into the equation before the discussion even begins; a fallacy that, if the reader accepts it, leaves him with the exact wrong impression.  Thus, Beck seeks to undermine whatever good could come from his book before he even starts to expose the truth about Islam.  So that you might get the most out of this book, let me point out and correct this fallacy for you. I hate having to do this, but someone has to do it.  Today, Beck released his new book, “It IS about Islam.”  I bought it first thing this morning and, judging from the index and the things Beck is saying, it appears that Glenn has finally found the truth about Islam.  I’ll write more about it after I finish reading his book.  But today, while trying to explain the difference between the Muslim and Christian Jesus, Beck intentionally deceived his audience — again.  And I do not see the real answer to how and why he is deceiving people in his books index.  He exposes the truth, but he does so in a way that hides the part that would not be flattering to his religion or his position toward those who have been trying to explain that the origins of his religion is no different from that of Islam.  Well, I have taken the time to learn the differences and similarities, and I think you need to at least be aware of them. Today is Thursday, August 13, 2015.  At about 0840, CST, on his radio show, Glenn Beck joined the party where it comes to teaching the truth about Islam.  Unfortunately, as is usual when it comes to Spiritual matters, Beck missed the mark.  It’s true, he is in the ballpark, but he is still outside the stadium in the area under the bleachers.  He can hear and feel the game, but he can’t quite see it because he has embraced a false set of teachings.  These teachings lead him to believe that men can save themselves.  That is a Spiritual lie.  If we could save ourselves, we would have no need of a Savior.  God would have left us under the Law of Moses.  But that is a topic for another subject.  The point at hand is that you understand that Beck has finally found the truth about Islam, but — as is the case with all Progressives — he is trying to change that truth.  Please, stay with me as I explain. I have noticed an increase in Face Book posts from people claiming they have a ‘right’ to their Social Security.  They claim that the money they paid in is theirs and they deserve to get it back.  many even believe their money is in an account with their name on it.  I have made several comments to these people in which I have tried to explain to them that they have been lied to, but rather than ask me for more information, the majority of them attack me.  I guess they believe that they can make something true by screaming loud enough and long enough.  That didn’t work for me when I was a child and, whether these good folks understand this or not, it isn’t going to work for them, either.  Social Security is going to fail because it must fail.  It is Socialism, pure and simple, and Socialism always fails.  But, if you are one of the very few in our society who cares to learn and understand, I’ll try to explain why I say that you have no right to the money you paid in to Social Security and how I know the system must fail. I watched the ‘debate,’ if I can call it that.  It seemed to me that it was more like an effort by FOX News to ‘shape’ public opinion about the candidates to fit the media’s preferred narrative of who they are and what they believe.  But leaving that for another time, I was struck by the way the audience responded to some of the exchanges in this debate.  Three times they cheered for a candidate who was advancing an immoral position.  Folks, forget the candidates.  If the people voting for them cannot recognize an immoral policy position when they hear it — or worse — if they actually cheer that immoral policy position, then it doesn’t matter who the candidates are: this nation is already lost.  In this case, I was struck by something Trump, Christie and Huckabee said that — if the audience were a moral audience — should have gotten them booed off the stage. I do not like it when others try to deceive people, and this definitely applies to me, too.  I despise hypocrisy, especially in myself.  Unfortunately, I am human, and though I try, I fail — often.  Still, I try to be honest with the people in my life, and this applies to those of you who read my blog.  So, when I find that I have posted something that is not accurate, or which is deceptive, I will edit it in a manner that leaves the original mistake while explaining the reason for the correction.  This is because  I believe deleting history is just another form of deception.  But there are other forms of deception, and ‘doublespeak‘ is one of the most insidious of these because it is always intentional – always.  Most times, people use doublespeak to say one thing while making the majority of their audience believe they said the opposite.  It is like speaking a foreign language that uses the same words as the original. If you do not know what the words mean in this second language, you will not understand what is being said.  We encounter this form of deception almost daily in our society.  Just recently, Obama provided us with a perfect example when he addressed a group of African leaders and said that the practice of killing humans to harvest body parts must end.  If you will allow me, I will do my best to explain why his condemnation does not apply to America and the Planned Parenthood scandals because he does not consider the child to be human. Before you assume that this post is meant to bash Barack or Hillary — STOP!  I did not say they are evil, I said they represent the face of evil.  What do I mean by that?  Well, this is not going to be easy for many of us to accept, but never the less, it is the Truth.  We — each of us — you and I — we are the evil they represent!  We live in a representative republic, where the people have elected Obama, who appointed Hillary to Secretary of State, and who was affirmed by the Senate, and who is now leading in the race for the nomination for the Democrat Party’s Presidential candidate of 2016.  This means, if the things these people represent are evil, then, as the elected representatives of this nation, they represent evil.  Clearly, this means we — the American People — must then be evil.  Now again, if you think I am accusing an innocent person because you do not support Obama or Clinton, STOP!  If you live in a State that has not seceded over what is happening, then you most definitely do support these people — because you are holding to the system they represent.  So let us not lie to ourselves: if these two support evil, then, as representatives of the people, it is the nation which is actually evil, not Obama and Clinton.  Therefore, the question we must really answer is this: do Obama and Hillary support evil?  I submit they do — and in the most atrocious of ways possible.  They support murder in the pursuit of creating a ‘Master Race!’ Continue reading “TRUTH: Barack Obama And Hillary Clinton Represent The Face Of Evil” →

I am just a layman.  I have no special training in understanding the Lord’s Word.  What I have learned has come by reading the Scriptures, then reading what those I consider to be Spirit-Lead teachers have to say about the Scriptures and then looking to see if those teachers match with Scripture — not the other way around.  The Lord has equipped me rather uniquely for this task, though I did not realize it until just recently.  I have formal training in philosophy and logic, and a very acute sense for catching discrepancies and contradictions.  This equipped me to sort ‘wheat from chaff’ when comparing the teachings of others against Scripture.  In addition to this, I am a former Marine, and we all tend to hold rather fast to our orders.  So, when I read my orders (i.e. the Scriptures), I defend them and will not budge from my position unless and until someone can show me — in the Scriptures — where, how and why I misunderstood those orders.  Also, being a former Marine, I have a tendency to be a little too willing to charge in where angels might fear to tread.  There is more, but this is enough to explain why the Lord keeps putting me in positions where I have to deal with believers who fall for and propagate false teachings.  There seems to be no end of such people and teachings.  This week, the issue of the day seems to be an Internet story that claims Christ named Barack Obama as the Antichrist.  I think it is high time that the Church stop long enough to look at what the Scriptures actually say about this supposed ‘antichrist.’ Continue reading “PROPHECY: What Scripture Actually Says About Antichrist” →

I understand that many of us believe that, in the end, a man will be possessed by Satan, and will cause people to be marked with the number 666.  That this man will stand on the Temple Mount and declare himself to be God.  That he will make a deal with Israel for a seven year peace, and that half way through that deal, he will break it and wage war against Israel.  Many believe the Church will be raptured before this seven year deal often called the Great Tribulation.  But, in recent years, I have come to understand that none of this is actually supported by Scripture.  Prophecy simply does not teach any of this.  It is the work of several men, starting with a Jesuit priest who was trying to stop the Protestant reformation.  Instead, I have come to understand that the ‘leopard-bear-lion’ beast in Revelation is a representation of Islam, and that the two-horned beast that appears as a lamb and speaks as a dragon is the apostate Western world.  Now, I understand this will cause many believers a great deal of trouble, but I beg you, hear me out — because the evidence supporting this understanding has been in the news for a long time now.
