UNDERSTANDING ISLAM: Do Not Be Fooled, Know What The Black Flag Of Islam Represents

With all the controversy over the Confederate battle flag this week, I thought I would write a post about a flag to which we should all be paying close attention: THE BLACK FLAG OF ISLAM!

If you watch the news, you have seen the pictures of the ISIS fighters — many of them on horseback — carrying their black flags.  Now, think hard, how many of those ‘news’ stories have explained to you what that black flag actually represents, or why these ISIS fighters are carrying it?  If you search the internet, most of what you will find are lies about how ISIS has ‘stolen’ the symbol of the black flag and are using it for purposes other than what it originally means.  Stories such as this one:

THEY IGNORANCE AND LIES!

This is one area where Glenn Beck actually comes closer tot he truth than most anyone else trying to explain what these black flags mean.  However, it must be pointed out that Beck’s analyst, Buck Sexton, is a former CIA operative who specialized in the Middle East and, later, counter-terrorism.  So Sexton is a expert on the history behind these flags (however, he seems to lack a fuller understanding of the religion involved):

THE REAL MEANING OF THE BLACK FLAGS OF ISLAM

In order to understand what these black flags actually represent, you have to understand the basic tenants of Islam.  From the Qur’an:

Qur’an 2:177     “It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Days and the angels and the Scriptures and the prophets…”

Muhammad repeatedly commanded that devout Muslims must believe in ‘the Last Days.’  The command is so strong that, if you do not believe in ‘the Last Days,’ you are not a Muslim but a hypocrite (apostate) and are to be killed.  So keep this in mind as you read this Islamic prophecy about the one of the major signs that the last days are near:

“Armies carrying black flags will come from Khurasan [the area we call the ‘Stans’].  No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Eela [the Temple Mount in Jerusalem] where they will erect their flags.”

Other Islamic prophecies foretell that these armies will be riding horses.  Others tell that the black flags will come from the East and their hearts will be “firm as iron.”

This is important because Islamic prophecy says that, when the black flags appear, it signals that the Mahdi (or ‘rightly guided’ caliph) is close at hand.  The Mahdi is the Muslim ‘savior,’ so-to-speak.  He is a leader who will set up a ‘new world order,’ and will govern the entire world according to Shari’a law, and will kill those who refuse to convert to Islam.  Islamic prophecy also says:

“Jerusalem will be the location of the rightly guided caliphate and the center of Islamic rule, which will be headed by Imam al-Mahdi.”

Now this is important to understand, so read this carefully and understand that — like it or not — this is the truth:

When the Mahdi appears, all — ALL Muslims will be required to give him their allegiance:

“If you see him, go and give him you allegiance, even if you have to crawl over ice, because he is the Vice-regent [Khalifa] of Allah, the Mahdi.”

“He will pave the way for and establish the government of family [or community] of Muhammad…Every believer will be obligated to support him.”

This is important.  Those Muslims we in the West think of as ‘moderate’ because they are not trying to cut off our heads: when the Mahdi arrives, he will declare a global Jihad.  At that time, all Muslims will invite you to convert to Islam.  If you refuse, they will try to kill you.  Those who do not join in the global Jihad will be killed, themselves.

Now, so you will understand just how serious this is to Muslims, you must also understand that Muhammad said that all Muslims must fight against the Jews or the last hour [and Mahdi] will not come:

“The Prophet said…the last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.”

This is why ISIS is succeeding: because the faithful Muslims of the world see them as the fulfillment of Islamic prophecy.  They are yearning for their Mahdi because they believe he will set everything right — and because Muhammad said everyone will be wealthy under his rule.  The Mahdi will give great wealth to whoever asks for it.  They want this Mahdi, and they believe they can cause him to appear by waging war against Israel.  That is what the black flag is all about: bringing about the end times.

THE ORIGIN OF THE BLACK FLAG

Now, Islam has two flags.  One is white.  It is called Al-Liwaa and serves as a sign of the leader of the Muslim army and of the Islamic State.  The black flag is called the Ar-Raya.  It is used by the Muslim army.  It is a symbol of Jihad.  The writing on these flags is an abbreviated version of the Islamic confession of faith.  They generally read “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.”  However, some of these flags read ‘punishment.’ this is because the blag flags of Islam go back to Muhammad, himself.  When he returned to Mecca after his eight years of exile, his army carried black flags with the word “punishment” written on them.

You see, there is nothing new in Islam.  The black flag goes back directly to Muhammad.  This is because Muslims are told that Muhammad is the perfect example for how they should live:

Qur’an 33:21     “Ye have in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern of [conduct] for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Days.”

Did you catch that last part?  One more time:

“Ye have in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern of [conduct] for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Days.”

If you had lived in the 1920’s and 30’s, and you read Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” you may have thought he was mad.  Most of the world did, so they ignored him.  Most of the United States ignored Obama when he said he was going to “fundamentally transform” the United States.  We ignored his wife when she said Barack was going to change our traditions, history and culture.  You see, evil always boasts about what it plans to do — always.  It’s just that the world does not listen.  It always believes that it knows better, and because whatever the world believes is its reality, evil generally gets free, and when it does, it causes great death and destruction.  Well, there is no greater evil than Islam, but the world has convinced itself that Islam means peace and that the ‘radicals’ are just a bunch of crazies who can be handled if we give them better economic opportunities.  Well, the world dismissed Hitler and it lead to WW II.  The world is dismissing Islam now, only — this time — Islam is committed to seeing the end times.

The West can choose to ignore Islam all it wants, but they won’t go away anymore than Hitler did.  Islam sees the black flags coming from Khurasan and they know it means the end is near.

Strangely enough, if you know Bible prophecy, it tells the exact same story as Islamic prophecy…from the other side!

Make of that whatever you will, but ignore it at the peril of the entire world.  As for me, the Marines taught me you always ‘honor the threat.’  My family and I will do just that: honor the threat!
