There are many voices in our government and media telling us that Islam is peaceful and that those Muslims who are fighting are not following Muhammad’s teachings. Many of these voices also complain about ‘radical’ Muslims killing others who are ‘not Muslim enough.’ Well, rather than take their word for it, or the word of anyone else — including me — why not look to see what Muhammad actually said about Islam’s and fighting? Here are just a few of the things Muhammad had to say on the matter:
note: passages in red are from the Qur’an; those in black are from the Sunnah (customs and sayings of Muhammad), the second holiest book in Islam and absolutely necessary to make a religion out of the Qur’an.
First, Muhammad’s commands to obey him as though he were Allah:
Qur’an 33:36
“It is not fitting for a Muslim man or woman to have any choice in their affairs when a matter has been decided for them by Allah and His Messenger. They have no option. If any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a wrong Path.”
Qur’an 24:51
“The only response of the (true) Believers when summoned to Allah and His Messenger in order to judge between them, is no other than this: they say, ‘We hear and we obey.’ Such are successful. Those who obey Allah and His Messenger, fear Allah and do right, such are the victorious. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger fears Allah and keeps his duty.”
Qur’an 4:65
“But no, by the Lord, they can have no Faith until they make you (Muhammad) judge in all disputes, and find in their souls no resistance against Your decisions, and accept them with complete submission.”
Qur’an 4:80
“He who obeys the Messenger obeys Allah.”
Qur’an 47:33
“Believers, obey Allah, and obey the Messenger. Do not falter; become faint-hearted, or weak-kneed, crying for peace.”
Bukhari:V9B89N258
“The Prophet said, ‘A Muslim has to listen to and obey the order of his ruler whether he likes it or not.'”
Qur’an 58:46
“Obey Allah and His Messenger; and do not dispute!”
Qur’an 64:12
“So obey Allah, and obey His Messenger (Muhammad).”
Now, Muhammad’s commands for dealing with ‘hypocrites:’
Qur’an 8:20
“Those who do not obey are the worst of beasts, the vilest of animals in the sight of Allah. They are deaf and dumb. Those who do not understand are senseless.”
Qur’an 4:115
“If anyone contradicts or opposes the Messenger [not Allah] after guidance has been conveyed to him, and follows a path other than the way, We shall burn him in Hell!”
Ishaq:322
“Allah said, ‘Do not turn away from Muhammad when he is speaking to you. Do not contradict his orders. And do not be a hypocrite, one who pretends to be obedient to him and then disobeys him. Those who do so will receive My vengeance. You must respond to the Apostle when he summons you to war.”
Qur’an 33:60
“Truly, if the Hypocrites stir up sedition, if the agitators in the City do not desist, We shall urge you to go against them and set you over them. They shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain without mercy – a fierce slaughter – murdered, a horrible murdering.”
Qur’an 4:90
“If they turn back from Islam, becoming renegades, seize them and kill them wherever you find them.”
Bukhari:V4B52N260
“The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.'”
For those who still do not understand:
A Muslim must obey Muhammad’s commands or they are a ‘hypocrite.’
Muslims must not try to change or leave Islam or they are a ‘hypocrite.’
‘Hypocrites’ are the worst of and most vile of creatures and are doomed to hell.
‘Hypocrites’ are to be killed — period!
Now do you understand why those who really do not agree with Islam will not say anything about the terrorists? If they do, they are ‘hypocrites,’ and guess what happens to ‘hypocrites?’
