LESSONS IN APPLIED LOGIC: Why Obama’s Lawlessness Matters to You

I have been posting here and on The Road to Concord to try and draw attention to the growing tyranny coming from the Obama Administration.  For whatever reason, people don’t seem to care that Obama is violating the laws of our nation, his oath of office and the Constitution.  I am not alone in trying to explain this threat.  Others have been joining me in the effort to wake this nation.  But, try as we might, it doesn’t seem to be having any effect.  So I thought I would try to explain it in another way: in a manner that is both shocking but also true.

If Obama can change the Affordable Care Act whenever he wants; if he can ignore the immigration laws; ignore the bankruptcy laws; ignore the laws dealing with posting rewards for the head of private citizens; ignore the election laws; ignore the laws dealing with race-based crimes: if he can just ignore these laws whenever he feels like, then what else can he just ‘ignore?’

If Obama does not want to give you due process, he can just decide to execute you out of hand.  Do not object: he has already done this and is considering it again.

He can force you to buy Government Motors Volts, and – as with all things government – once that is mandated, they will go up in cost, not down.  Do not object; this has already been done to government agencies – in violation of the laws dealing with competitive bidding.

If Obama can just violate laws whenever he feels like, he can ignore those laws dealing with your energy costs.  Do not object: he has already done so – and it has cost people their lives because they couldn’t afford heating or air conditioning.

Actually, if Obama can just ignore the laws he doesn’t like, he could even allow you to die if he doesn’t want to spend the money on your health care.  And, again, do not object: this has already happened – several times.

Do you see what has happened yet?  Do you understand?  You are no longer free.  You no longer have rights.  All you have is what Obama decides to let you have.  And if this is not stopped now, next election, it could be that you will have whatever someone like Newt Gingrich or Carl Rove decides you should have.

This is a threat to all of us who value our individual rights and liberty; and next to the need to put God back in His proper place, there is nothing more important or pressing in our society today.

[NOTE: it’s not Obama, nor is it Bush: it’s the ideology they and the people behind them are pushing.]

  1. Joe,
When I consider every act of lawlessness from this Administration and the ones prior, I have become utterly convinced that the problems we face today transcend political parties and factions; we [Americans] no longer believe in freedom, at least, not the freedom that was established in 1776 and 1787. We don’t need the government to tell us what is or is not lawful; what is or is not under the constraints of Natural Law, or, what is or is not a violation of our rights as free men and women. No, we have convinced ourselves, through deception and denial, that freedom is subordination; that freedom is secured by government; that God does not exist.

How do you free a people whose majority wish to remain supressed?

    1. Lara,

I agree. And to answer your question: you evangelize them. That is how Christ meant for us to change the world and — if we will only look — we will find this is how our founders did it. Before every leap of liberty and self-government in American history, one will find and awakening among the population. Without such a revival now, anything we try to do on our own is doomed.

      1. Joe,

You are very right! I am studying United States history right now, and come to think of it, the first great awakening was in the mid-eighteenth century largely due to the efforts of George Whitefield. This, in combination with the ideas of the Enlightenment had a major influence on the Founders. Likewise the second great awakening was a major force by the 1820’s, influencing abolitionism and ultimately the Civil War.

Come to think of it, my teacher specifically said that ONLY the Enlightenment influenced the Revolution. In fact, she fervently denied that evangelization had anything to do with it! (I don’t think this is a coincidence)

        1. Lara,

You should look for history books from BEFORE the 1900’s — if you can find them. They will present a better view of our history. As you have discovered, modern history is a distortion of the truth.

Keep up the good work 🙂

  2. Joe,

We have had the perfect guide for almost 2000 years on how to live our lives in concert with Natural Law. The Bible has the perfection and truth of God cast in stone on what is required.

Unfortunately man has spent most of these years trying to remake man into an all powerful god that knows better than the true God that created all things. We can eat from the tree of good and evil and surely not die.

Today the Church (Now the church of Laodicea) is on it’s last leg. The salt has lost it’s savor and what is being preached in the Church today is a man centered gospel based on false teachings that will send millions to Hell.

The itching ears are in control and Satan has done a very good job of deceiving most in the pulpits and the pews. Satan is good at what he does and man as a whole has lost the spiritual war until Christ returns.

Without a revival in the Church the US has no chance of survival. We do know where prayer is needed.

Matthew 7:13-14 – King James Version (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
