The impulse to control other people is evil — period. There is no justification. A person may try to rationalize this impulse, but it is still evil. Nothing can change this; not even if the majority agrees with the desire to control. In fact, when the majority tries to force its will on others, that is called the tyranny of the masses. it is why our founders rejected democracy. Unfortunately, our society no longer recognizes tyranny. Instead, most people in this nation support and even advance tyranny under the guise of ‘fairness.’ They insist that justice is based on fairness. they are wrong. Justice is based in morality; ‘fairness’ is based in tyranny. This is what is at the heart of the desire to create ‘protected classes’ in this society. Well, we have another chance to illustrate this point and — at the same time — demonstrate why I am fond of telling people that evil will always boast and tell you exactly what it wants and why. We find it in a story a friend of mine shared with me about the tyrants trying to destroy a family owned pizza parlor.
We will start with the story and a short excerpt from it:
Sally Kohn’s Small Business Refuses to Serve Everyone
“Any business can already discriminate in any way it sees fit — as long as it’s not discriminating on the basis of a protected identity. Period. So, for instance, a restaurant can say “no shirt, no shoes, no service” or even “no people wearing blue shirts” as long as the reasoning or motivation isn’t a protected identity. So you can’t deny service based or race or religion. That’s the law.”
Kohn adds that she “wants gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Americans to have that protected legal status — which they do under the laws in some states, but not most, and not at the federal level.”
OK, first, Sally Kohn is demonstrating that she is:
1 — Ignorant about rights. He words demonstrate that she thinks a right is what she wants and feels entitled. She has no understanding as to where our rights come from and what is or can be a right and what is not. To her, a right is whatever the government says it is.
2 — Ignorant about the law. Her words demonstrate that she knows nothing about the nature of the law. Her entire argument is based on what she wants and how she feels; not on the principles of morality and Natural Rights. She believes in a system of ‘might-makes-right.’
3 — Kohn is ignorant about the Constitution: Her words demonstrate that she knows nothing of what the 1st Amendment says or means. She also shows that she is willing to ignore clear language in the 1st Amendment if she thinks it will justify the denial of another person’s rights. Nor does she understand the application of the 13th Amendment in this case. In fact, there is no evidence that she is aware that it applies, or that she even cares.
So, after demonstrating her complete ignorance, why does this woman feel qualified to lecture anyone about rights and justice? The answer is simple: she is not interested in rights or justice. She simply wants what she wants and, since she is too much of a coward to pick up arms and fight for it herself, she is demanding the government do it for her. This is the same government that is supposed to protect the business owner, yet, Kohn thinks it is ‘fair’ to force someone to not only act against their will, but to help fund the government in making them do so as well.
Any way an honest person looks at Kohn’s statement, the Truth is clear: Kohn is a tyrant. The law is not important to her. She wants what she wants and will say and do anything she feels is necessary to get it. She even says so when she says she wants to make protected classes of people. In other words, Kohn thinks some pigs are more equal than others. No doubt, she probably thinks she is the most equal of all pigs.
So long as you are in one of those protected classes, I suppose this may be OK with you, but what about when you fall out of favor. What happens then?
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
Recognize Kohn and those like her for what they are: EVIL! Do not accept their arguments. Oppose them and their agendas. Because, if you don’t; if you do nothing; well…
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
–Edmund Burke
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
— Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Don’t be evil. Don’t join them by remaining silent. Speak out against evil. Make your voice heard.
