SOCIAL ENGINEERING: In Politics, Nothing Happens By Accident

And Things Are Seldom What They Seem

This post will use a lot of popular references to help make my points.  The use of these references is actually part of the point.  Let’s see if you get the point before I have to explain it.

The Statist/Collectivist loves democracy.  Why does he/she love democracy?  I’ll let K answer this one for me – only, instead of thinking “aliens,” think “illuminati:”

So, if people are scared, panicky sheep – and they are – then why would the Statist want democracy?  Why would the Statist always be pushing the latest ‘crisis’ and demanding that we take ‘immediate action if they know people panic easily?’  If the Statist truly cared about people, wouldn’t reason dictate that we try to go slow; to make careful, deliberate decisions – so we can calm people down and help them feel safe?  Once again, Hollywood has an answer.  This time, we go to a galaxy far, far away…

Now, let’s see if you can put things together.  Here’s the story, do you see what has been done – and why?

Obama to Heckler: If I Could Bypass Congress to Deal With Immigration, ‘I Would Do So’

The heckler said, “Mr. President, please issue an executive order” and implored him, “you have the power to end.”

President Barack Obama told a heckler Monday that if he could deal with immigration without going through Congress, he “would do so.”

FDR said that when it comes to politics, nothing happens by accident.  He said, if something happens, we can bet that it was planned to happen that way.  Another political commentator has described politics as Hollywood for ugly people.  Both are conveying the central idea that politics has become little more than theater.  That is what happened in this story: theater.  But did you see the real message, and how it was portrayed?

This ‘heckler’ was doing what the President and his handlers wanted him to do.  This was not spontaneous.  We have too many previous examples of political opponents being arrested for heckling this President, but Obama not only did not tell the Secret Service to arrest or even remove this guy, Obama told them to let him speak.  These two things together tell us that Obama wanted this spectacle.  He wanted the visual of the man pleading, and more, he wanted the video of people supposedly calling for him to act as dictator.  And this is not the first time he has orchestrated this sort of scene:

[NOTE: I you did not watch all of that last clip, go back and do so – now!]

Now, tell me, what difference in ideology is there between Obama and the words of this man?

Democracy is talking itself to death. The people do not know what they want; they do not know what is the best for them. There is too much foolishness, too much lost motion. I have stopped the talk and the nonsense. I am a man of action. Democracy is beautiful in theory; in practice it is a fallacy. You in America will see that some day.

Do you know that there have been a series of American Presidents who have agreed with these words?  In fact, Republican, Theodore Roosevelt, and Democrat, Woodrow Wilson, both said the American people just need to elect dictators and leave the administration of the nation to them.  Several others since Wilson have also said words to the same effect.

Now, let’s go back to that quote and Obama telling us that, if he could, he would follow this man’s example.  That last quote is from Benito Mussolini, the man who coined the term, Fascism.

Finally, let’s go back to the story about Obama and this ‘heckler.’  That was designed to build support for amnesty and direct Presidential action.  It was also designed so that Obama can say he does not have the power to go around Congress.  But he is saying it exactly the same way Beck said he is not calling Obama a Fascist in the end of that last video clip.

Do you understand why the Statist likes democracy so much yet? Do you understand the connection between my post and my use of pop-culture video clips?  Do you see how all of these things are tied together?  Do you even care?
