The Deuteronomy 32 World View

If you have not already done so, let me urge you to buy and read, “The Unseen Realm,” by Dr. Michael Heiser.  In all honesty, outside of the Bible, it may well be the most important book you will ever read — especially if you want to understand the subject of this post.

When I first encountered the Deuteronomy 32 world view, my mind exploded.  It literally frames the overall narrative of the Bible; both Old and New Testaments.  In fact, I would go so far as to say that, unless you know and understand the Deuteronomy 32 world view, you can’t properly understand what is happening in a great deal of the Scriptures.  And, once you do know and understand it, you will not be able to avoid seeing it behind nearly every passage in the Scriptures.  It is that big a part of the story, and yes, it is that important.  You might even put it right up there with the Gospel — especially since the two are inseparably connected.

What’s more, once you know and understand the Deuteronomy 32 world view, and how it underlies every aspect of Scripture, you will start to see how it lies behind a great many of the events in human history, as well.  Everything from the Tower of Babel to the New World Order and the destruction of Western Society can be explained in terms of the Deuteronomy 32 world view.

I know this may all sound like hyperbole, but I assure you, it isn’t.  I have looked into this a great deal and the Deuteronomy 32 world view is both logically coherent and Scripturally consistent. All I can do is ask that you take the time to look into this for yourself, and that you do so with an open mind.  Give it serious and sincere consideration.  Then decide what you make of it, but do so only after you have done your homework.  Anything less won’t be a disservice to anyone but yourself.  Trust me on this one, I know what I am talking about from personal experience.

So, what is the Deuteronomy world view?  Well, I am not the best person to explain that to you.  Dr. Heiser is probably the one who should explain it.  Therefore, I would humbly request that you take the time to watch the following video.

For those who would like (or need) a more scholarly presentation (or proof) of this material — meaning you need more ‘proof’ before you will consider accepting it as accurate — I would suggest the following article:

The Tower of Babel

11 Now all the earth used the same language and the same words. And it came about, as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. Then they said to one another, “Come, let’s make bricks and fire them thoroughly.” And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. And they said, “Come, let’s build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let’s make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of all the earth.” Now the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the men had built. And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they have started to do, and now nothing which they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth; and they stopped building the city. Therefore it was named Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

    when he divided mankind,
he fixed the borders of the peoples
according to the number of the sons of God.
