LESSONS IN LOGIC: Are You Opposed to the Confederate Battle Flag?

WARNING!

THE CONTENT OF THIS POST IS VERY POLITICALLY INCORRECT

(it also happens to be very true)

Does the Confederate Battle Flag offend you?  Do Christians who disagree with gay marriage offend you?  Do people who say that Islam is a violent religion offend you?  Do people who defend the 2nd Amendment offend you?  Do people who home-school offend you?  Do people who question mandatory vaccinations offend you?  Do people who disagree with global warming offend you?  Really?  Then let me ask you a question:

How does it feel to be a bigot?

Does that question offend you?  Well, too bad.  It is by definition, and only the truly ignorant and arrogant argue with definitions:

Full Definition of BIGOT

:  a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially :  one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.

Speaking of the truly ignorant and arrogant arguing with a definition:

Now, for the rest of us ‘grounded’ people out there: the fact that there are so many ignorant, arrogant bigots out there is not the really frightening part.  No.  The really frightening part is that they are too ignorant and arrogant to understand why they are bigots.  You can educate a reasonable person, but you cannot educate these people because they have renounced the use of reason.  Now, my ‘liberal’ logic professor told me the only thing that separates man from animal is his use of reason (use, not capacity for).  But this is what really scares me about this.  You see, if these people have renounced the use of reason, then that means we are dealing with animals in human form!

I can only pray you see the true terror in this realization…
