Treason: past fable or current truth?

Treason?  What is it?  Why do we moderns never hear any discussion of Treason?  Why is the very concept of Treason outside the realm of possibility in the common American’s mind?  On the other hand, why is McCarthyism “known” to all Americans and thrown about casually?

The 2006 movie “300” tells the story of 300 Spartans led by King Leonidas who held off Persian King Xerxes’ army of 100,000-150,000 at Thermopylae in 480B.C..  In this story line, Leonidas’ Queen is attempting to persuade the Spartan Council to send reinforcements to aid the 300. Theron, a corrupt politician, threatens the Queen that he “owns” the Council, causing the Queen to reluctantly submit to his sexual demands in return for his help. When Theron disgraces her in front of the Council, the Queen kills him in front of the council.  As Theron falls to the floor, a bag of Xerxes’ gold is revealed from Theron’s robe.   The Queen is vindicated as Theron’s possession of Persian gold definitively show’s Theron’s treason.

Treason illuminated and understood instantly.

“300” viewers know and recognize Theron’s Treason as soon as they see Theron’s possession of the enemies’ gold.  All the viewers recognize the seriousness of Theron’s Treason and that he helped Sparta’s enemy in exchange for money and power.  Viewers are relieved when Theron’s treason is punished with death.

Treason’s seriousness is inherently understood.

After all, Treason is the highest crime of a civil nature (Consider with Murder as the highest crime of a criminal nature.)  Why were we, and why are our children, not taught what treason and treason’s consequences are?  Why are Americans taught to believe McCarthyism was completely false, bigotry, evil, to watch for it, and assume allegations of treason are false? 

Is it reasonable to assume that Treasonous acts and actors no longer exist?  Would it be reasonable to assume that murderers no longer exist?  Are acts of Treason really a rare, past fabled occurrence to be forgotten in the dustbins of history?  Was Benedict Arnold really the last American guilty of such offenses against the dream of America with liberty for all mankind?  Why aren’t all Americans aware of Alger Hiss and his treason against America and the Western powers in favor of the Soviet Union and Russian Communists?  Why have America’s history books purposely left out modern treasonous actors like Alger Hiss?    What if the generally accepted narrative of, Senator McCarthy’s accusations as false, is not true?  Have you ever wondered why “McCarthyism” is taught in a such a way that to consider the mere possibility of spies in America who work to undermine and overthrow her, is ridiculous, paranoia, bigotry and evil?

Treason is the highest crime of a civil nature of which a man can be guilty. Its signification is different in different countries. In general, it is the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power. In monarchies, the killing of the king, or an attempt to take his life, is treason. In England, to imagine or compass the death of the king, or of the prince, or of the queen consort, or of the heir apparent of the crown, is high treason; as are many other offenses created by statute.

In the United States, treason is confined to the actual levying of war against the United States, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
Treason in Great Britain, is of two kinds, high treason and petit treason. High treason is a crime that immediately affects the king or state; such as the offenses just enumerated. Petit treason involves a breach of fidelity, but affects individuals. Thus for a wife to kill her husband, a servant his master or lord, or an ecclesiastic his lord or ordinary, is petit treason. But in the United States this crime is unknown; the killing in the latter cases being murder only.

Since the beginning of time there are always enemies of every State.  It is unreasonable to assume acts of Treason have successfully been completely eradicated today.  Why is the consideration of the possibility of a  “communist spy” network that sought to overthrow, take control, and make the United States Communist considered “crazy”, “paranoid,” “ridiculous,”or even “bigotry”?  Alger Hiss was born in America, attended Harvard Law, clerked for one of America’s revered Supreme Court Justices, worked within FDR’s administrative agencies, was a member of the communist party of the USA, attended the Malta conference with FDR and Stalin, and was a Soviet GRU spy.

With 32o,000,000 American citizens and 10’s of millions of illegal aliens hiding in plain sight within America’s borders; why is it “outside the sphere of reason” that individuals or group of individuals are present who seek to overthrow American law and governance?  Isn’t it much more realistic and logical there are persons actively committing treason?  There are today persons who seek to help America’s enemies, enforce new “law”, overthrow our government, and subjugate our neighbors.

• The Fort Hood attacks by the Islamic Army Doctor.
• The Boston bombers.
• The Oklahoma beheading/murder.
• purposely false “hands up” narrative inciting riots and crimes
• Garland Jihad attempt recently in Texas and recent revelations of Americans seeking to join Islamic forces and join in Jihad show Treason is alive and well today.

These are all acts in furtherance the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power.

Why is the Federal military conducting the largest exercises across many States on civilian property in the “jade helm” military exercises?  The “jade helm” exercises show the Federal government believes there to be many within our borders who seek to overthrow our society by working with a foreign entity and self described State.    

Russia’s actions of invasion of Ukraine and support of Iran show Russia is an enemy of America and American interests.

Uranium is one of the most important resources for America’s national defense in this dangerous world. The New York Times reports (link), the United States Federal government’s State Department allowed Russia, a world competitor and American enemy for more than 70 years, take control of one-half (1/2) of the America’s Uranium resources. 

What is happening when the head of the State Department who authorized the giving away of control of 1/2 of America’s vital uranium resources receives large sums of wealth from America’s enemy?  How is the acceptance of treasure from a foreign enemy state any different from Theron’s acceptance of gold from Xerxes?

Isn’t the acceptance of monies from an enemy of America and the authorization of giving away of control of one-half (1/2) of America’s most important resource to an enemy of America, per se, the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power?

Is the indoctrination of the “McCarthyism” narrative, the blinding of all Americans to TRUTH?  Is the McCarthyism narrative indoctrination causing American’s minds to assume a narrative that causes Americans to fail to “see” truth, danger, TREASON; as it happens before our eyes?
