Today is May 13, 2014. On his radio show, between 10:15 and 10:20 CST, Beck openly lied to you about the identity of Jesus Christ. But, if you do not know how he lied, you will be very likely to accept that lie. You need to know and understand why what he said was a lie.
Beck claimed that he is a ‘Christian’ because he has accepted and submitted to Jesus as his Lord and Savior. On the surface, this sounds correct. But it depends on what Beck believes about Jesus. Muslims believe Jesus (Issa) is the Messiah, but they have a different definition of ‘Messiah’ and – as a result – they change the true identity of Jesus. Muslims reject the assertion that Jesus is the Son of God (He is!). To them, Jesus is just another prophet. And this is where and how Beck just lied. He is a Mormon, and as a Mormon, Beck believes that Jesus is the literal (material) son of another man who became god. Mormons also believe that Satan and Jesus are ‘brothers.’ Both of these beliefs change the true identity of Christ by making him into a mere man and by adding a son to god.
Scripture clearly states that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. Only means only! So to claim that Satan is the brother of Jesus is to change Scripture, and that is the spirit of antichrist. This is not my opinion, but the word of the Apostle John, whom Christ loved:

4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Now, clearly, John’s definition of antichrist excludes Muslims from ever being ‘Christian.’ in return, that also means Allah cannot be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. However, before you think that John’s definition of antichrist can cover Mormons, remember that the Old Testament prophets always call on God as the eternal maker of the universe. Well, Mormons believe in a god who started as a man who did not make but put order to the universe. This is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. As a result, Mormons have changed the true identity of Jesus. This means that Mormons have more in common with Muslims than either have in common with true Christians.
Incidentally, if you research the origins of both religions, you will find they have many parallels, none of which are similar to the teachings of Biblical Scripture.
Now, I do not ‘hate’ Glenn Beck. In fact, I love him a great deal. I am a regular listener and subscriber to his Blaze TV Network. I am in debt to him for his historical teachings. But I also fear for him – because he is lost and convinced that I am the one who is wrong. This makes it all but impossible to reach him, but this does not mean I do not pray for him, because I do. I would ask you to pray for him, too, but also for all Mormons as well as all Muslims. My prayer is that everyone will come to recognize the true identify of Jesus and will accept Him as their Lord and Savior under the correct understanding: as the only begotten Son of God, the Father, who suffered, died and was buried and who rose again to fulfill Scriptures and make atonement for sin. Amen!
