TRUTH: There Are None so Blind as those Who Choose to be Blind

Which is more important to you: defending your beliefs and desires at all cost, or pursuing and knowing the truth at all cost? I wonder. I know many will say they care more about the truth, but I do not believe the majority who say this actually mean it – not anymore. If they did, then I doubt there would be so many who resist when they are told that we – the United States – are walking down the same road that was traveled in the 1930’s. We are, it’s just that our pride, ignorance and arrogance are blinding us to the realities of our modern world. Otherwise, more people would recognize the warning signs and would be sounding the alarm than currently are. For example: where has the world seen the pattern before that is currently playing out in the Ukraine? If you recognize the pattern, then you should also see it playing out in our own nation. So, do you see it?

The world has seen the pattern before. Germany used the excuse that it had to defend the German-speaking people in the Sudeten Lands to invade Czechoslovakia. Hitler perfected this tactic (i.e. excuse), and it has been repeated many times since. It’s just that it plays out in slightly different ways every time: that and one generation usually becomes ignorant of the things that happened in the last. So ignorance and perceived differences blind us to what is nothing more than a tried-and-true political ploy. The truth is, Hitler perfected many such political ploys, and they have all been studied very carefully by those who seek to seize and hold power ever since. Sadly, Hitler and his henchmen openly admitted they learned the majority of their craft from American leaders.

If you actually bother to study German history in the 1930’s, and look at how Hitler came to power, you will see that he had to make himself into the image of something he was not. He had to learn how to speak so that people would listen, and then he had to learn how to hide his agenda behind a message of peace. In the end, he destroyed through peace (which will sound familiar to some). But he also used scapegoats to focus the peoples’ attention on created enemies. Today, we are well aware that Hitler focused on the Jews, but he also attacked Capitalists, bankers, Catholics, homosexuals and other ‘undesirables.’ The Jews were the primary but not sole ‘villains’ in Hitler’s propaganda campaigns. And this is how the people were deceived: by carefully planned and executed propaganda campaigns. The truth of the matter is that there was no exploitation of persecution of the German-speaking people in the Sudeten Lands, not were the Jews or any other group responsible for Germany’s plight. Those beliefs were created by Hitler and his NAZI party.

Why is this important today? It is because our government is knowingly and intentionally doing the same thing today. Why do you think they repealed the propaganda ban in 2013?

Congress repealed that law so they could avoid having to constantly defend themselves against breaking it. It’s that simple.

There are several direct connections between the current Administration and several of the major television news networks. This is not an accident. This is because the legacy media – what we call the ‘main stream media’ – is no longer a free press. It is a wholly owned and operated arm of the government. Even the name – ‘main stream’ – testifies to the use of propaganda techniques. If one looks at the network audiences, it is clear that ABC, CBS and NBC are not ‘main stream.’ Look at their numbers compared to those of FOX News and this is readily evident (not that FOX News is not also propaganda). What we do not realize in this country today is that what the media tells you is as much propaganda as how they tell it. Remember when gas was $5/gal under Bush? Do you remember how the media attacked him and blamed him for it, and focused on what it was doing to the average American? So why is that same media silent about $5/gal gasoline in California – especially given that Obama openly said he wanted energy prices to skyrocket? The media is silent about this issue because it is doing what its masters in the Administration want it to do.

Another example is Benghazi. The Obama Administration has openly committed High Treason. It was running guns to Al Qaeda, a sworn enemy of the United States. The proof is in the official Congressional records, but have you heard about it yet? No, instead, you hear – and many accept – bald-faced lies from the White House Press Secretary. But lest you think I am attacking Democrats, understand that the evidence actually implicates the leadership of both Parties. This is why Congress has not done anything about Treason: because any move they make on Obama will also catch and convict many Republican leaders in the House and Senate. The corruption is that widespread, but it takes an even deeper control to keep a lid on it. That control is called propaganda and censorship.

Look at how the ACA was forced on us. There is circumstantial but very credible evidence to suggest that Justice Roberts was coerced into changing his position on the Constitutionality of the law – evidence made all the stronger when we look at the fact that his reasoning – itself – makes the law unconstitutional. By calling the fines a tax, Roberts then declared a law that created a tax in the Senate to be Constitutional. But even more surprising is that no one in government seems to care. They are all scape-goating – just as Hitler and his disciples taught them to do. Incidentally, Hitler was the master of producing damaging files to ‘convince’ his political opponents to ‘retire.’ This is what the Gestapo was all about: it was the NAZI version of our NSA, and it served much the same function then as the NSA does today.

Hitler was the first to understand how to use the media of the time. He made the NAZI’s seem glamorous. He also incorporated the youth, and glorified them as being more ‘in touch’ than their parents and grandparents. To Hitler, it was a way to ‘nationalize’ German people, but to do so by winning their willing surrender to him and his NAZI Party. Remember, the first time, Hitler tried to gain power through force and he was jailed. The second time around, he chose to seduce the people – seduce and bribe them. Does the pattern sound the least bit familiar to you? Can’t you find any examples of this pattern being employed in our nation today? Or do you doubt that this is what Hitler wanted and was trying to do? If so, then let him tell you:

Why nationalize industry when you can nationalize the people?

[In other words, why go the Communist route and try to take over industry when you can just take over the people by winning their hearts and minds?]

Now, if you want to win over a population, you need to convince them they are under some form of threat and that you can deliver them from that threat. So you make up or create a threat:

The efficiency of the truly national leader consists primarily in preventing the division of the attention of a people, and always in concentrating it on a single enemy.

Now, it does not matter if the threat is real. You can lie. In fact, lies are better, and the bigger the lie the better still:

The size of the lie is a definite factor in causing it to be believed, for the vast masses of a nation are in the depths of their hearts more easily deceived than they are consciously and intentionally bad. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders them a more easy prey to a big lie than a small one, for they themselves often tell little lies, but would be ashamed to tell big lies.

Now, just telling the lie is not enough. You have to convince the people to accept it. How do you do that? You use propaganda:

All propaganda must be so popular and on such an intellectual level, that even the most stupid of those toward whom it is directed will understand it… Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way around, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise.

Finally, how do you make sure the propaganda message gets into all parts of society? How can you make sure it is re-enforced and internalized by as many people as possible? By using every aspect of society in your propaganda campaign:

In relation to the political decontamination of our public life, the government will embark upon a systematic campaign to restore the nation’s moral and material health. The whole educational system, theater, film, literature, the press and broadcasting – all these will be used as a means to this end.

Now, here is the last part of the formula. Once people are afraid they face doom (global warming and income inequality), and the enemy is identified (crony capitalism, the rich, conservatives), and you have launched your propaganda campaign (see any ‘main stream’ media news story, late night comedian or prime time TV show and now, the public school system), then you have to find a way to silence those who might want to speak out against you. Hitler did it by making it illegal to publically speak out against him – just like Woodrow Wilson did (btw: Wilson was one of the men Hitler studied). But today, this doesn’t work so well. There is still too much stigma associated with open censorship of speech. Instead, you create the shield and call it ‘Political Correctness’ and you tie it to the stigma of racism (do you really need an example of how this works?). Now, you can silence your opposition by labeling them a racist or a homophobe and, if they get too far out of line, you fire up the propaganda mill and take their job, or even their property (such as an NBA team).

I wonder when people will wake to the reality around them. Or will they wake up? Will they chose instead to deny the truth and cling to what they wish or want to be real? Is it already too late for us? I don’t know. But I know this much. Those who say there is no real threat of America becoming a Fascist nation like NAZI Germany did are right – because we already are!
