Obama and Sunstein Manipulate Language To Justify Domestic Spying On Their Political ‘Enemies”
This post is part of a series of posts that illustrate the ‘Spirits and Types’ behind the agendas that drive our world. In this series, I will indirectly illustrate these ‘Spirits and Types’ by showing how they manifest themselves into political agendas. This will be done by highlighting specific figures from our modern world and drawing the connections between their ideology and the historic roots behind their ideas. In this manner, it is hoped that the history of these original ideas will be sufficiently self-evident to allow the reader to draw the proper conclusions about their modern manifestations and the people pushing them. If you are on the side of truth, once you learn the connections, you will see the agenda for what it really is. Now, let me show you how President Obama is appointing people who are pushing an agenda which is directly connected to the practices of nearly every modern dictatorship.
This post is connected to my previous post, MSNBC Anchor, Karen Finney, Refuses To Acknowledge Objective Reality. In this post, we will see how the government has incorporated the tactics that were first used against Senator McCarthy to shut down debate or investigations by demonizing political opponents. This is a tactic that was It will also show how the government is infiltrating (i.e. spying on) U.S. citizens so as to target the groups they need to isolate and demonize. These investigations are ‘justified’ by the very act of demonization against whatever groups are deemed enemies of the State. After all, if they are an enemy of the State, then spying on them is justified to defend the State, right? At its core, this technique rests on the fallacy of circular reasoning:
Citizen: Why are you spying on them?
Government: Because they are enemies of the State.
Citizen: How do you know they are enemies of the State?
Government: Because we’re spying on them.
Our post starts with this story:
President Barack Obama named his controversial former regulatory czar – who as an academic advocated government infiltration of conspiracy theorists – to serve on the NSA oversight panel.
Cass Sunstein, who served as the administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs throughout most of the Obama’s first term, advocated numerous policies as an academic – including the government infiltrating conspiracy theorist groups by joining “chat rooms, online social networks and real space groups,” in a 2008 paper he co-wrote at Harvard, as recently reported by The Washington Post.
On the surface, this doesn’t sound like a problem – until you understand that these same people claim the ‘right’ to define and re-define words (This is why I post about the defense of our language: who controls the language controls the debate; and who controls the debate controls you). You need to understand that this is not an accident. This is how tyranny works. They pass a law with this sort of reasonable sounding language then, after the law is in place, they change the definition of the words which then has the effect of entirely changing the law. For example, here is the definition of an ‘extremist’ that is starting to be pushed by the Obama Administration:

Judicial Watch, which obtained 133 pages of lesson plans and PowerPoint slides in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) filed on April 8, 2013, complied a list of ‘highlights’:
• The document defines extremists as “a person who advocates the use of force or violence; advocates supremacist causes based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or national origin; or otherwise engages to illegally deprive individuals or groups of their civil rights.”
• A statement that “Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publically espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.”
• “[W]hile not all extremist groups are hate groups, all hate groups are extremist groups.”
Once again, this doesn’t appear to be unreasonable – until you realize that this definition would include the founding fathers of this nation! It also includes Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! In fact, it would include anyone who tries to defend Natural Rights, Natural Law and the Social Contract: in other words, the U.S. Constitution and the ideals and principles upon which it is founded. And there is ample evidence that the government is using the full weight of its abilities to actively pursue anyone who is trying to defend the American ideal. This is what the IRS and NSA scandals are all about. At the same time, while this definition would include groups such as the New Black Panther Party, the government not only does not pursue them, it refuses to even prosecute them for clear violations of the law and open acts of hate.
Sunstein’s wife is reported to have said that his ‘dream job’ was to be Regulation Czar. She also is supposed to have said he was extremely excited when he was given the post. This is because he knew he could use regulation to “shape” our society – totally outside of the democratic process. In other words, as regulation Czar, he could demonstrate his intellectual superiority by ‘designing’ the perfect society and implementing it via regulation. Then, when his society worked perfectly, everyone would have to recognize him as the smartest guy ever – because he managed to do something no one has ever done before. Now, if you doubt this is what Sunstein believes and how he feels, you need to read his book, Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness. This book is all about how to use the force of government regulation – crafted to make it impossible to not ‘chose’ the desired option(s) – to ‘nudge’ people into living the way Sunstein has determined is best.
Read this book: Sunstein is openly admitting that this is what he believes and how he thinks it should be done. Now he is being placed in a position where he can use this same method to protect the gains he has made while Regulation Czar from those seeking to undo the damage and restore individual liberty. This time, instead of using regulation to shape society, he will use definitions to get around Congress and the Constitution and protect his social engineering from the will of the people. What’s more, Obama knows what Sunstein believes and how he works and is deliberately choosing him for this job. This is not the rule of law; it is the arbitrary rule of men and – by definition – that is tyranny.
